Every goodwill of a man earns him the support and love of the people.

The former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko Iroko of Zenith Labour Party ZLP, and past senatorial aspirant has endorsed Aketi's 4+4 mandate which implies continuity.

Mimiko, no doubt believes in the vision and mission of Governor Akeredolu legendary contributions towards the development of Ondo State and thus has declared his support for Akeredolu’s continuity.

His intention was made public during the Adekunle Ajasin University's 9th Convocation, at the opening of the University's Senate building which was renamed after him by Governor Akeredolu.

Mimiko's decision was seen clearly when he raised his palm using his fingers to show the 4+4 sign as usually used by Akeredolu's supporters.

Iroko described the governor as a man void of political bigotry and the right man to pilot the affairs of Ondo State for the next eight years, following his numerous giant strides in the state for the past three years. He therfore noted that his mandate is for Akeredolu and as well encouraged the people of Ondo State to do the same.

That will be too bad if true. Eyitayo Jegede who is Mimiko's political son is also in the race under PDP and should be the person Iroko should have endorsed.
