I feel it creeping in ever so slightly

Worming it's way into my mind so sprightly

Worried I wouldn't be able to think clearly

Went down on my knees and ask God for guidance

Didn't do any good for all I got was silence

Got back on my feet resigned in my demons

If only I could muster up a modicum of resistance
