President Buhari left Abuja on Tuesday afternoon for Egypt, to attend the ASWAN Forum on Peace and Sustainable Development in Africa.

The President was accompanied by Governors Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.

Experience from last the general elections would have showed Pres. Buhari how terribly self-centred Nigerian politicians are. It is either they have their way or everything scatters. Examples include Ibikunle Amosun vs Ogun State APC, Rochas Okorocha insisting on his son-in-law in Imo State, Magnus Abe vs Amaechi, Abdulaziz Yari vs Senator Marafa in Zamfara, etc. Consequently, in this picture he looked uninterested because he is aware that several well-meaning reconciliation efforts yielded zero results as none of the parties is ready to make concessions.
