I supported this government in 2015 to take over from an evidently inept Jonathan government; however, so many things that had happened in the current administration are a bit worse.

If we thought that Dame Patience Jonathan, with her limited erudition and composure, and tactlessness, rubbed off badly on President Jonathan (an otherwise gentleman- too gentle to have ruled Nigeria- a crazy country) many conducts of the current First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has terribly rubbed off on Buhari as a father, husband, leader, let alone President.

The rudderless nature of this First Family, and the ‘trio of evil axis’ of:

a stubborn, publicity-grabbing wife;

a dangerous and unelected cabal wielding powers of an elected President; and

an obviously weak President (who we thought was strong, considering his December 1983 to August 1985 experience as Head of State) says a lot.

I totally agree with you, Stella Obj, mama Peace will not tolerate this Mamman Daura /Garba Shehu duo against the first family. This completely unacceptable.

The duo are married to southerners who have an atom of respect for women and know the right place to put their wives. This is a typical northern establishment. Women are supposed to be at the background breeding quietly not disturbing the peace of the neighbourhood asking for rights and respect

Even though they are on a joint ticket I would think that everyone would fully grasp the concept of Separation of powers and even when not in the know, a cursory glance through google would inform you of the constitutional powers of the Vice President of Nigeria.

As for loyalty, it is in the same class as integrity. either you score 100 or u score 0, there are no in between's but then Nigerians are used to hedging their loyalties and shifting from pillar to post just to satisfy their selfish motives, they find the VP a strange bedfellow.
