Unfortunately, it never deemed appropriate for state governors to appoint these foreign technocrats into their cabinet as Commissioner for commerce and industries rather such public offices are offered to charlatans who recommended by some perceived godfathers. The future of Nigeria can only be transformed until the political space is open up for innovative and creative ideas.

Hmmm , so why are they called Nigerians? They are Nigerians who became British by living there for long or being born in Britain by Nigerian parents.

So my question is, how many British become Nigerians by living in Nigeria for long or by being born in Nigeria by British parents.

This is exactly the point I've been preaching for years. Nigeria will only develop when we start adopting best practices used in developed countries. Get best of brains from across the world irrespective of country, origin, or race. US, UK, and some other developed countries allow nationalised immigrants to aspire any political office so far you can deliver. But alas, Nigeria is still stucked with tribal and religious sentiments that only brings about retrogression.
