A day after Sowore, a Nigerian-American, was released on bail following a court order, he has been detained yet again in controversial circumstances.

In dramatic scenes in court, agents of Nigeria’s department for State Security (DSS) attempted to arrest Sowore, resulting in a scuffle involving his lawyers.

Some Nigerians met in New York City to protest against Sowore's rearrest by DSS after a court-ordered his release .

Finally, our people are becoming more organised and daring against unpopular goverment decisions and actions, I hope soon that goverment will be more responsive to the masses. Though these ones look like they come to snap pishure.

I can easily say sowore don't know what he has put his hand into.
If them release that guy them go rearrest am again
If the rearrest too much then them go inject am or silence am for life (death)

How does opposition lead a revolution? Even if you want to do it as a politician then you contact someone every body love maybe Burna boy or tuface to spear head and you indirectly sponsore and fund it without letting the public know.

Revolution and uprising are for people who are apolitical
If you are into politics or an opposition and you want to lead a revolution it is gonna be seen as MUTINY

Same Moda fiuckkers that destroyed Jonathan now wants freedom

punch editorial and decision to henceforth refer to Buhari as a General really unsettled the presidency. The way some of the president’s aides have been reacting to it since morning showed that punch really punched the president below the belt.
Personally, I think the president opened up himself to the attack. He could have played the role of a sensitive leader when DSS carried out their deadly attack on the court by dissociating himself from the irresponsible action and ordering the immediate release of Sowore. Instead of doing the right thing, he backed up DSS in their show of shame.
Malami’s attempt to order a probe into the incident today is a face saving afterthought that is too little and too late. The president needs to start listening to better advisers going forward. The sycophantic aides he has surrounded himself with obviously doesn’t mean well for him and the image of his government.

The more you protest the more they will keep him.. Who are we to talk??
Things have never been worst in a democratic Nigeria. Say the truth, they will say it is hate speech, especially if the truth is coming from a Yoruba Christian or a woked Igbo man, they will issue multidimensional charges against them.
