Where Is Pastor Patrick Anwuzia Of Zoe Ministries Worldwide?

I traveled to South Africa some years ago, and I visited other countries in the SADC region like Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and i also visited the beautiful Island of Mauritius. While in Botswana, I attended a Church in Broadhurst, Gaborone. As the young charismatic preacher was ministering, out of the blue, he screamed "Where is my father, Pastor Patrick Anwuzia" wherever he is may God continue to bless him.

When I heard the name Patrick Anwuzia, I turned to a Nigerian sitting next to me and I asked him, Nwannem, this pastor is right, where is Patrick Anwuzia? The name Patrick Anwuzia the founder of Zoe Ministries Worldwide still rings a bell in the Nigerian Christendom. During the mid-90s Patrick Anwuzia was the cynosure of all eyes, his sparkling flowing wide-sleeved Agbada attire was the talk of the town, with rich colours. Patrick Anwuzia's messages were more of prosperity. He held crusades in most big cities in Nigeria and established Zoe Ministries branches in almost all the states in Nigeria. He even had a branch in the UK and other parts if the world. At some point, he was almost commercializing the word of God in his crusades. I once attended one of his branches in Agbani road in Enugu. Zoe Ministries dominated the South East and had a strong base in Lagos and other South-South states.

Like a tsunami, Zoe Ministries shook the Christian community of Nigeria, they were everywhere, in the airwaves, newspapers, Television houses, etc. Not too long, like a tide, Patrick Anwuzia's name and fame began to dissipate. The flamboyancy that characterized his person began to fade away and the church began to experience a decline in membership, some branches began to fold up until the reign of Zoe Ministries Worldwide ebbed away.

It was alleged that a popular Man of God cursed Awuzia at Tafawa balewa square (Tbs) in Lagos. While preaching in a ministers conference, he drove with his siren blazing disturbing the message of the Man of God. He walked with his escort and protocol to the stage at that instance the Man of God told him he would go down for disrespecting him and that was the beginning of his fall.


Today, Pastor Patrick Anwuzia has gone into oblivion, he is going through Ichabodic experience. The abrupt end of his reign is still a huge shock to many. If he were still in the scene, considering the pace at which he was operating by now he would have built a megachurch with not less than 100,000 capacity and I know he would have bought his private jet for ministry work. What really happened is what we don't know. As one who has worked with a lot of church leaders, I can say that what sustains a ministry is not just the manifestation of power but the addiction to God's word. Raise members who are hungry for God's word and not miracle seekers who moves from one church to another in search of miracle and more importantly, when raising money don't forget to raise worded members.

True! Where the hell is this man.I know that his church branch @ Agbani Road & almost enter there one day to make enquiry.

Learnt the man was enmeshed in a ? financial scandal(though) not sure sometime back but the fall into oblivion of this prosperity gospel man is a pointer that Christianity not based on Christ Jesus Himself is a total flop.

Pastor Anwuzia is in Ogwashi Uku in Aniocha South local Government area of Delta State. I don't know him in person but their family is very rich and are nice in the community. I have heard so many good things about his family and himself.
He is neither broke nor poor. In fact, stories have it that he single handedly sponsored his brother who is currently the chairman of Aniocha South local government of Delta state.

A very fine and kind hearted gentleman in the person of Hon Isaac Anwuzia popularly known as "Anarchy"..

Pastor Anwuzia has a church in the town. They call the place "Mountain".
That's all I can tell.

I remember Pastor Anwuzia. He started off in Enugu doing a Friday evening Christian show called 'Zoe Ministeration'. His message was quite simple, if you were a true child of God, you should be prosperous. His TV show started to attract huge following. The man was mesmerising. He preached prosperity with so much confidence. It was not long before he started organising crusades which huge crowds attended. He would hire Okpara Square and it would be packed with people. The man was an overnight sensation. Zoe ministries was everywhere. There was this yearly crusade Anwuzia had in his native Ogwashiuku in Delta state. The number of people who came for that yearly event were several time the number of people in Ogwashiuku.

The man the moved international, opening branches in London, America and even South Korea.

In one crusade in a Stadium in South Korea, Anwuzia nearly lost his life due to the huge crowd that came to see him. The man was an international wonder

The thing with people like Anwuzia is that what they do is not sustainable in the long run. It's the same thing with Nigeria on musicians who storm the music scene with a smash hit but nobody remembers them after a year

He kept on preaching about prosperity and spiritual breakthrough without telling people how to make heaven. Eventually people started to get tired of him and his popularity started to drop.

Last I heard of him, he was down with a serious illness that has incapacitated him

all those cult false prophets... I was never a fan. only him speaking in tongues showed his fakeness

I have asking myself about Pastor Awuzie's whereabouts. He started a viral pentecostal movement across Nigeria. The blessing of white handkerchief, he pioneered and so many other practices.

YOU can even watch his gospel messages on you tube.
From some of the comments l read says He was sick or properly has vanished without trace and one said he is in Ogwashi in Delta state.

He didn't say the latter ministries mentioned failed, I guess he was only asking after them and there where about.
Gethsemane prayer ministry of Rev. Aransiola is still doing fine as I watched the man some weeks ago.
