Yeah, global 1 is the US region. I was only wary because of DLCs, does it come with one?

Nothing like Region code on ps3 and 4 games disc. It will play nicely on your console or any console expect your console len is faulty. Region has to do with PSN account only which is related to DLC..if you are gamer you shld understand.
