Genesis 1:1-3
¹ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
² And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
³ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (By the Holy Spirit's power)


1. The Holy Spirit is OMNIPOTENT: this means the Holy Spirit is all powerful. The Holy Spirit is the power of God; God manifests and releases His power by His word through the Holy Spirit. This makes the Holy Spirit very powerful, the most powerful person on earth.

All the acts of God were and are done by God's Word through the Holy Spirit. All the work of creation were done by God's Word through the Holy Spirit. All the miracles of God were and are done through the Holy Spirit. God does nothing outside His Word and Spirit.


“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee... "

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

By the power of the Holy Spirit released by reading God's word and praying in tongues, we can

a. receive and perform miracles,
b. overcome our enemies,
c. solve complex problems,
d. be delivered from dangerous situations and stubborn enemies,
e. progress,
f. be prosperous and fruitful,
g. be a soul winner,
h. recover all our stolen blessings,
I. Fulfill destiny.


2. The Holy is OMNIPRESENT and OMNISCIENT: This means His presence is everywhere and He possesses all knowledge.

The Bible says in Genesis 1:2, that the Holy Spirit moved over the face of the waters. The whole earth due to God's judgment on lucifer and his rebellious angels, was overflooded with water and most likely was frozen.

Here we can see the presence of the Holy Spirit covering the face of the entire earth just as an eagle covers its eaglets with its outstretched wings. This shows us that there is no distance in the realm of the Spirit; the Holy Spirit can touch as many people as possible on earth no matter the geographical location.

But more importantly, the Holy Spirit has perfect knowledge of everything that happened, is happening and will happen. His presence covers the earth both physically and spiritually, so He knows all that is happening.

This is why it's so important to pray at all times in tongues. So many tragedies, disasters, premature deaths, satanic attacks, job losses, etc. Have been averted because someone felt led by God to pray in tongues for some time and they obeyed.

Again because of the perfect knowledge the Holy Spirit has of the earth, He oftens reveals things to us in divine and prophectic revelations. We see this many times in scripture:


“And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.”

“And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the (Holy) Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.”
— Acts 11:28


“And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.”
— Acts 21:11 (KJV)


“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”
— Acts 2:17 (KJV)


We can easily operate in the prophetic, knowing what will happen in the future, if we pray more in tongues. The Holy Spirit will show and tell us that is going to happen if only we draw closer to Him.

Not just the future, we can also know what happened in the past, (word of knowledge) or how to handle a present situation (word of wisdom) by the Holy Spirit.

The holy spirit does not know things men don't already know or can't deduce.

How can you differentiate what you do in your life and what this holy spirit does in your life?
