Isn't it better than relying on private individuals importing fuel, then smuggling it out again after it's subsidized by the govt.............or collecting full payment without importing a single drop of fuel like during GEJ's administration?

Which means Dangote will be at least $8 Billion richer

Would you rather the country depends on private foreign refineries because that’s what obtains at the moment. Government the world over try to provide the enabling environment for businesses to be set up, thrive, expand and grow the economy. We need many more private refineries in all parts of Nigeria to be viable in order to stop the disgraceful situation where an oil producing nation is importing petroleum products.
