On completion of this programme, should I further in MSc in Agricultural engineering or MSc in education. Like should I further based on my first degree or based on where I am working? I really do not want to end up in teaching though having an M.Ed will put me in an advantageous position in case of speedy promotion. Please I will need your various advice on this.

You are already on the path to becoming a full fledged career teacher... Plus, the path seems easier; so, I'd say continue therein.

If you want to teach in university then go for M.Sc Agriculture or M.Edu

Do your masters in Agricultural Engineering since you already have PGD in education.

But to be honest with you, if things were functioning well you would be looking at high institution not secondary or even primary school as your course is unrelated.

Then do an M.ED in Early Childhood & Primary Education or Curriculum/Instruction or Curriculum Studies or any such related courses.

Where it gets tricky is in the requirements to gain the admission.

So choose a course, locate your desired university and know if its feasible based on the certificates you have.
