Wife Puts Baby's Face On T-Shirt, Scares The Heck Out Of Dad During Rinse Cycle

This dad got quite a fright when he walked into the laundry room to see his baby’s face in the washing machine.

Parents, please be careful with your children around washing machines. While they do an excellent job of getting last week’s tomato sauce out of your jeans, they’re not designed with children in mind. Which is to say they’re dangerous and potentially deadly to infants and small, crawling children.

So when a dad walked into the laundry room to see his kid’s face in the glass, he was understandably upset.

It turns out there really wasn’t a problem. It’s actually just a shirt with a picture of his baby’s face on it. Which will lead us to another lesson that this image teaches which is not to put your child's face on clothing. But we’ll get to that in a second.

"Please, if you are ever washing your favourite shirt with a picture of your child on it, just put a warning note on the washer or something,” reads the caption over on Imgur. The post was made by user ARussianAndHisBike and tagged using “child,” “heart attack,” and “warn a brotha.” That last one is particularly important because of the first one being on a shirt and in order to prevent the second one.

And you just know that something this juicy is going to have some hilarious comments. The top comment is a real winner: "How else am I supposed to wash the baby, Karen?"

Runners up include, "What's the big deal? I put it on the delicates setting," as well as "JESUS give a person a heart attack!!!

Now we get to the real comment that makes you think: "Anyone else weirded out by the fact that they have a shirt with their baby on it?" And yea, it is a bit weird. Least of all because the baby is not always going to be a baby, and then all you're left with is an even creepier t-shirt of what your child looked like before they had object permanence.

Like, you can never wear that shirt anywhere. You can't wear it at home since your kid will bug you for it, and you can't wear it in public without literally murdering your child via embarrassment.

But at least we can laugh at the dad that though his kid was drowning in a washing machine.
