Noah got drunk with wine because he took it in excess.
Genesis 9:20-21
20. And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21.And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
John the baptist did not drink wine;
Luke 1:13-15
13.But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John (the baptist) .
14.And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
15.For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
Jesus drank wine but did not get drunk (I believe so because the bible did not state that Jesus was drunk)

18.For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19.The Son of man(Jesus) came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
Biblical wines had alchohol in them that was why excess of it was able to get Noah drunk and that was also why paul told Timothy to take little of it not only for infirmities sake but also for **STOMACH**sake so as not get drunken by it.
1 Timothy 5:23
23.Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.
Beer contains alchohol and biblical wines contain alchohol .
From the below research biblical wines are more able to get one drunk more quickly than beer.

Conclusion:When taking beer or wines don't take it in excess they both have health benefits when not taken in excess.
