There are a lot of fanatical Christians too. They don't want you to marry outside the church even within Christianity. The Catholic Church views other churches as sinful. The Jehovah's Witness cannot accept a member marrying outside the church even if the marriage is to a fellow Christian brother/sister. Christian fanatics may not resort to violence like the Muslim fanatics but it doesn't mean they are more peaceful.
