Free gems can be earned by completing achievements or removing obstacles. When trees, stones and bushes are removed, players receive a small amount of experience (experience points) and sometimes get from 1 to 6 gems. When you complete tasks in the Achievements menu, such as Clear 50 Obstacles, players are awarded with gems. When you get 1250 trophies, you get 450 gems.

A box with gems is the best obstacle giving you 25 gems every time you remove them. Always remove them as soon as possible, as this is the only obstacle that you can have only one at a time. If you do not delete it, you will not receive another.

Another (albeit limited access) way to earn gems is to enter the top 10 players of the top three clans in the world ranking. At the end of each two-week period, the best 3 clans earn 20,000 gems for the 1st, 10,000 gems for the 2nd and 6,000 gems for the 3rd; these results are divided equally between the top 10 players of the respective clans. This is not an easy task.
