Bauchi State Government has approved the payment of N30,000 new minimum wage for employees in the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by Alhaji Mohammed Baba, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to newsmen in on Wednesday in Bauchi.
According to the statement, the approval is with ‘immediate effect’ (commencing from January 1, 2020).

Funny enough, the states we think aren't economically viable are doing the needful however, oil rich states with 13% derivation and bumper allocation from the FG are lagging behind...Most politicians in the South-South are greedy.

The minimum wage is a federal law which every state must legally obey. The issue is the weak federal enforcement. Anyone who doesn't should be punished.

Southern Governors are very shameless and useless aswear. Especially the oil states. Dickson should be jailed after he leaves office.
