Monday, December 30, 2019 will linger in the minds of the Okorie and Malumi families for a long time. The two families were united as one, when their daughter and son, Anthonia Chinwendu and Prince Tunde Nonso, were joined in holy matrimony amidst pomp and garlands.
The well-attended traditional marriage took place at Isiakpu Village, Ogberuru, Orlu L.G.A of Imo State.

Pastor Ademola Malumi, who attended the wedding in his capacity as the Father of the day and ‘groom’s father’ advised the young couples on what it takes to survive marital squabbles.

He bluntly advised the young lady on the secrets of marital bliss. In his word: “You have to make sure you submit all to your husband, total submission and respect are some of the basic rules to a lasting marriage,” he warned.

On a final note, the Pastor Ademola Malumi advised the groom never to raise his hands on his wife, “the worst thing any man can do is to beat his wife, please don’t do it,” he told the groom.

The event was a creamy affair as friends, family, business associates and invited guests dressed in white, while the couple regaled their visitors in their stunning fuchsia pink and white attires.
