It should have been long ago. By now we should have a big medical tourism industry and posh retirement seaside homes for diaspora Africans all over 9ja.

Imagine businesses middle class diaspora blacks can create in a prosperous Nigeria where citizens have a high purchasing power.

ICT hubs in Lagos and PH, industrial hubs in the East, oil servicing companies in South South and farming & tourism/aviation services in the North.

Naija govt does door of no return daily with its citizens. Unserious governance, when many of our diaspora brothers ask me about Nigeria, I divert them to Rwanda, Botswana, Tanzania.

Don't you know Ghana declared a Year of Return in 2019 for the black diaspora? Boy...hundreds of thousands of black Americans visited Ghana last year and many have settled there for good.

Why wouldn't she? The amount she raked in Ghana didn't near half of what she made here in Nigeria. Come back soon jare and make more money to add to what is left after buying the recent mansion and get another one in Abuja.

By the way, African-Americans are thronging Ghana and some other african countries already, in their moves to return to their roots, as sponsored by Ghanaian government. Who can guess why none of them could think of Nigeria, despite her position and relevance in Africa and the world over?
