The first phase could be 10 units of house.

It's a great initiative ,but like most things Nigeria looks low quality with the finishing and landscaping. Compare that with my sketch .
The one on my sketch are ten 10 stories .The 10 buildings plus landscaping and the other amenities would cost approximately $30 million dollars and would house 50,000 people . It cost that less because it's mostly concrete , not glassy . A state like Akwa ibom receives $50 million dollars per month . with a population of only 3 million .

why not? maybe the contractor was honest for once. 99.99% of government contracts in naija r 10 times the real price if u don't know. if the government give out a contract for 1mil, just know that 150k will complete the project and still turn huge profit for the contractor.

So the cost of each unit is 4.8million .

Very possible on that scale. Thats N4,842,931 for one. And they're probably not including land cost as it might have been allocated.

This is just one of the housing projects. There are similar housing projects at different stages of completion across the entire country.
