The reason I find your posts irritating is that you ask questions whose answers should be preliminary to somebody who claims to be a sceptic.

I don't understand how you can critically oppose Christianity and yet, not know that Pontius Pilate has been proven to have existed and that the sole basis for distinguishing Christianity from other religions is that human beings need a divine intercessor and that Christ fulfils the criteria.

I don't know what sort of discussion you expect us to be having if you haven't grasped even basic concepts such as these, or if you are as disingenuous as to pretend not to have, just for the sake of it.

You said that there is no evidence that Jesus died when even non-Christian historians acknowledge that he did, even if they do not believe in his divinity. So what was the point in saying that unless you were deliberately trying to be disruptive or you just haven't bothered to research it?
