Nice one. But for 6th graders, you will need a simpler method for them to understand.

I tried using formula so that it could be reusable for similar exercises. Also, following the formula keenly the OP can deduce the formula explanations.

Thanks

01) square of 20 from d nos above=400
Square of 17 from d nos below=289
Subtract 400-289=111

02)square of 9 from d nos below=81
Add 40 from d and u got which is (81),
81+40=121
The square root of 121 from the ans will
Got above i.e√121=11

03)square Of 5 from d nos above =25
Subtract 25 from d nos In d circle which is 9
25-9=16
The square root of 16 from d ans will get
Above √16=8.

Simple analysis u can't just make good use of ur initiative.U don't need any f**kin formula to solve these problems...Just use ur head...it's like Bodmas.
Besides, any good teacher must have solved many other examples similar to it in class. Nansense

For question 7, the right answer is there and not just whole 1. 1/2 is the correct answer.

Translated into:
1/2*2/1 =2/2 = 1.

Oga stop complaining, you dont need this Epistle if you look at it with the eye of a kid, the Answer is there but your kmowledge of Advance Mathemathics would not allow you to see the answer, it is not called Quantitative reasoning for no reason, so always think outside the box, in this case (Forget the Examples) and look at the sums, and the answer you would find grin

But one of it doesn't have the correct answer going by the examples. Besides, there are many errors in Lantern mathematics series. I have used it and I know there are errors unless you want me to start exposing them. Nigeria educational authors should work harder.

You are contradicting yourself. You said the answer is 1/2 but your working reveals otherwise. Please go back and read the question well. The answer is 1

1*square root of 4 = 2

So the missing number is 1.

Square root of 4=2

1/2*2 is same as 1/2*2/1 = 2/2 =1

It's square root ma. The lowest number is multiplied by the square root of the number above and the answer is the number on the triangle cheesy

E.g first diagram is 4*root of 9 = 12, where root of 9 is 3

Hope it is clear

In fact, I dash you 1 million USD. You too much, these things can be tricky

Square root of 4=2

1/2*2 is same as 1/2*2/1 = 2/2 =1

The result on the diagram is 2 and not 1. So the only multiple that will give that result is 1. Please go back and check the diagram.

No 1.

Multiply the two numbers in the triangle and divide the result by d square root of the upper one, the answer gives you the value on top of the triangle.

Eg. 4x9 =36
Square Root of 9 is 3
36/3 = 12

Second diagrams is about minus, plus, multiplication:
10-7=3
10+7=17
3×17=51
