please ignore any typographical error.
I'll go straight to the point.I feel a strong connection with my phone and I as it feels like we're interconnected. But my addiction to my smart phone has ruined me and is killing me silently. I'm a university student and I've been trying to work hard but my smart phone is stopping me from doing that, it always presents me with reasons to procrastinate .
Each time I set academic goals I fall short because my phone doesn't let me concentrate. I used to love reading but right now reverse is the case. I just feel like a drug junkie. Using my phone starts out as fun but in at the end of the day when I try to ask myself questions about what I've achieved for the day I just end up in self regrets like a drug addict who just got high on drugs, it's led me to depression , the more I use it the more depressed I feel.
I used to be perfect at spellings but autocorrect has made me dumb that I even forget simple words.
please I'm here to seek for solutions to solve this problem of mine. I've tried everything from aversion therapy to behavior conditioning but all of those methods don't seem to work.

You need to discipline yourself, brother.
Getting outta ur addiction always seems difficult at the initial stage buh through discipline and determination it would be quite easier.
If all activities u do perform as par ur academics revolve around ur phone... In terms of writing assignments, reading via PDF, and online submission of assignments.it might really be hard to break free but if ur answer to my questions is negative, then why not suspend urself from using smartphone and settle for this smaller one.
Use ur smart phone only when it is highly necessary.
And u should as well engage the services of your bossom friend. Let him serve as a check on the usage of ur phone

Exchange your smart phone with a family member for a touch light phone. This will work.

Go to school very early and read before lectures start.
