South East Vs South West, Economic War Possibilities And Likely Scenarios by kettykings: 5:44pm On Jan 10, 2020
From the analysis of events in the past , present and Future , the possibility of a full blown economic war between the South East and South West is not far fetched.

Instances abound of how Fashola deported some individuals and dumped them at the onitsha had bridge, the continuous yearly harassment of igbo traders in Alaba, Ladipo, Oshodi and Lagos island , the enforcement of Iyaloja over markets dominated by igbos in Lagos.

The deliberate and vengeful Boycotting of eastern made goods by the Lagos Government , like Innosson cars, the more than 1000 check points of police and customs to frustrate igbo importers , the near critical activities of street urchins , cultist and omonile who harrass eastern businesses in lagos during and after elections , one is forced to foray into a possibility of an economic war between the East and the West in the future and how the war will pan out

First , the East can respond by boycotting the following
1. Boycott of Lagos Ports for Niger Delta ports,
2. Boycott Lagos Airports for Abuja Airports for international Flights
3. Universities in the South West for Universities in the East and Niger Delta
4. South West Banks like GTB, Wema, First bank, Sterling for Pro East Banks
5. Relocation of the Nollywood back to the East
6. Boycott and putting a cap to patronage of companies that dont have any base in the East ,cadbury, unilever, nestle
7. Trade tax for goods with no manufacturing base in the east
8. boycott of poultry products from the west
9. stoppage of dumping of goods imported from western ports to the east

I will edit when i see you are done writing your nonsense.

Boycotting ibo business, e.g inusun. Lmao, ibos ruined Nigeria market by producing counterfeit, they made it hard for startups(especially my Yoruba brethrens) to get customers and penetrate int the market cuz every new products can't be trusted not to have ibo counterfeit fake hand in it, you are making life unbearable for people dude.
Common satchet water, its so hard for people to trust new products in the market and you are here saying trash about economic activities.

I will reply fully when i notice you are done writing.

Modified

I was reluctant to because i saw you've been dealt with already but nonetheless, lemme quickly state this other facts, Op, honestly, you guys are menace to the society, it's no rocket science that everyone wants you out of their land, from Yorubaland, Hausa/Fulani land, ghana, South Africa and all. The benefit you contribute to society isn't as many as the ruins you contribute hence why everyone wants you out and rather than find out why everyone have problem living with you, you'd rather use it to massage a non existing ego attributing it to envy and hatred.

Honestly, this your trade war threat will really be wonderful if we can at least try it even for a month, PH airport and seaport now works well and fine, stop coming for anything in Yorubaland, boycott MMA, boycott our seaport, relocate all your hawkers away from our land, Boycott GTB, Firstbank, Boycott our Uni, like it was your people that made Covenant uni best in West Africa and 4th best in Africa. Infact boycott our lands too and let's see who will suffer for real.

You all keep talking trash about not patronising Innoson, when has any of yours patronise Proforce, Lanre Shittu and other Yoruba owned motor company, even yet Yoruba have patronised Innosson more than your ibo politicians, it's something you can research.

And again if you don't like that we install Iyaloja and babaloja in our own market which is the tradition of our own land, then can't you kindly move back home where you wouldn't have iyaloja/babaloja problem?

So let's try it. If you know how happy many of us would be that you are leaving our lands with your crook mindset which will allow our people to grow. Infact please do well to make it quick. PH is closer to you, start using the airport there and the seaport, stop migrating to our land, honestly we are all tired of you.

Let the trade/economic war start right now. Lmao

That's up to them to decide, but you have not provided any reason why the Lagos State Government, which has shares in VON, should buy Innoson vehicles instead of vehicles from the company that it has shares in.

VON's employees pay taxes in Lagos. The Lagos State Government would get revenue from VON if it is successful.

Balderdash
It seems you are bored this afternoon.
Can you force me to buy innoson, is it your money I am using. What is your headache in what I buy. God bless operation amotekun for purchasing our own JAC and not innoson if that is what is paining you all.

You want to boycott sea port and airport. Like who cares, the Yorubas are in millions using the port. So who gives a fork about you.

You want to boycott our banks, lol, like seriously. Gt has branches in Europe, north and west. So if you want to boycott, go ahead no one cares.

You want to relocate nollywood t oh the east, you must be insane. We all know who started nollywood in the country, try it na and here your story, why not relocate Music Industry join.

If you like, boycott southwest schools, we careless. No your money them dey take run them.

Let us all start boycotting our products now and let see who will lament.

how many of the 800 buses imported by Ambode were from VON, they answer is zero, showing there is a deliberate boycott of eastern products

how many of the telco users in Lagos are actually yorubas you can make your points without resorting to insults, the possibility that not upto 30% uers of the telco services in Lagos , mowe, ibafor, are yorubas

That was because of politics. Ambode wanted to establish an assembly plant in Epe to compete with VON (they will produce the same make of those buses that Ambode imported). It's the same reason that Lagbus was cancelled and Primero was made the sole provider of BRT services.

The red BRT buses that were used during Fashola's era were assembled at VON.

You have still not told me why Lagos State Government should buy Innososn Vehicles instead of vehicles that are assembled in Lagos (apart from some conspiracy theory that is based on paranoia).

In fact, Lagos State Government has shares in VON and that's where BRT buses are assembled. Lagos State has had shares in VON since the 1970s.

Primero is about to establish another assembly plant in Epe and BRT buses will also be produced there.

this is exactly the point i am driving , just as Lagos state has no reason to buy innosson same Anambra businesses have no reason to import via Lagos Sea port , use Lagos Airport or use services like ISP domiciled in Lagos

You won't beat SW in economic war...
