COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN, DRAFTING, ANALYSIS & SIMULATIONS (CADDAS) CERTIFICATION FOUR (4) MONTHS PROGRAMME - ONSHORE, OFFSHORE, PIPELINE, SUBSEA & HYDRODYNAMICS - 2020

Chess Subsea Engineering, a UK based international underwater subsea training, global technical manpower supply and engineering consultancy company with extensive experience with Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) unit, Jack-up, Drilling Units, Drillships, Risers and Pipelines is set to train & certify Nigerian graduates and working professionals changing careers intensively within four months (4) in the areas of Pipelines, Onshore & Offshore Topsides Structures, Subsea & Hydrodynamics Engineering using modern Computer Aided Design, Drafting, Analysis & Simulations (CADDAS) software’s with focus on onshore, deep and shallow water project. FEATURES OF THE PROGRAMME
CADDAS programme is formulated mainly for other branch of engineering candidates to obtain expertise and specialize in Offshore Structures and subsea Engineering so that on completion of programme, the candidates are eligible to occupy Engineer/managerial positions in various Offshore companies including Offshore Structures Construction Installation Design and Drawing offices within Nigeria, UAE, India and abroad.

PURPOSE
To develop the highly specialized skills and knowledge in the areas of 2D & 3D Engineering Design of Offshore & Subsea Structures along with components Procurement Installation & Construction. CADDAS programme is structured for engineers from any disciplines who intend switching careers and working as subsea pipeline engineers, subsea systems design engineers, subsea reliability engineers, subsea integrity engineers, offshore engineers, offshore project managers & offshore supervisors for local or international offshore and subsea contractors or IOC’s globally.

OBJECTIVE

Objective of the programme is to enable participant to support deep and shallow water assets with minimum supervision for all deepwater diving operations & subsea related activities including:
• Conducting proactive surveillance of subsea equipment from data interrogated from surveillance tools and presenting insights on performance in addition to identifying opportunities to enhance existing operations
• Troubleshooting subsea flow assurance, control systems issues as and when they arise
• Developing subsea inspection plans and supporting execution of survey activities for subsea equipment
• Analyzing inspection results and conducting fitness for service assessment to ensure integrity of the subsea equipment
• Participating in, or leading various safety studies/activities such as: PHAs, HAZOPS, JSAs and incident investigations for marine systems
• Supporting maintenance of subsea equipment spares inventory and subsea tooling.
• Interfacing with diverse groups including vendors and operations/maintenance technicians on subsea related issues
• Providing technical leadership on all subsea-related issues.
