Everyday now at least in Abeokuta, there is light for 2hrs+ total. Before(last year), IBEDC can take light for 1 week to 1 month.

Power back @ Abuja since 8pm last night.

Let's be realistic , though, we aren't generating enough power, and the transmission system isn't fit for purpose. And as someone asked recently, are Nigerians ready to pay the kind of bills that would guarantee light 24/7? Are we also ready to vote in corrupt free leaders, and hold the ones we have to account.?

24/7 with prepaid meter

Yes in the long term. Comfort of usage. And if you are running a business with it it will put you at an advantage. People just want solar for enjoyment.

In Cotonou(which Nigeria should emulate), 247 light is a REALITY and you gauge your bills with card.... If the house doesn't have meter/card system, you buy(maximum price for durable one is 20,000cfa) and any electrical boy will help you fix it....If meter/card system is scarce in Naija, let them team up with Benin since those ones have assembly plant in Ouidah province inorder for Nigerians not to pay bills they didn't use eg someone using fan and laptop/phone sharing limited meter/card with a family having AC, fridge etc.

I don't subscribe to this you've just said, fine we need corrupt free leaders but paying through are anus and nostrils for power is mere ripoff.
