Nnamdi Kanu, the Supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) might miss his parents’ burial scheduled on February 14 as disclosed in a statement released by the proscribed group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful.

The group which stated that it can’t confirm the attendance of its leader for the burial of his parents HRH Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Okwu-Kanu said the event will begin with procession and preparations in line with ancient customs and tradition.

Thousands of people enter Nigeria everyday without passport or Visa. The Niger/Benin/Cameroon borders are wide open with many illegal points. If Kanu wanted to come back to Nigeria it would be to easy. He wont do this because it would be pointless. He knows that the burial of his parents is not worth his personal safety or life.
