The judgement is myopic. If inec that is the sole authority responsible for the election does not have a conclusive result then obviously the election should be declared null and void. Nobody should win until a fresh and impartial election is conducted.

Meanwhile, some inec animals should be held accountable criminally for conducting and declaring a rogue election. The consequences of what happened there is enormous, but because rigging is normal in Nigeria, the fcking judges can't see beyond handing it over to the one that has concocted evidence.

No sir!
The Supreme Court cannot accept the result from either APC or PDP as valid because they are not INEC.
The supreme court should have forced INEC to bring the results even if it was cancelled as evidence.

You are wrong.

You say the supreme court cannot accept results yet the same supreme court can overturn a wrong Inec declaration of who won an election. Choose one struggle Mr man.

The SC accepted the result because a chief witness in form of the DCP provided results which tally with what Hope submitted while Inec and PDP could not present even one counter evidence to defend their position that the results were faked.

This effectively brings in the words of the bible which is also found in law. OUT OF THE MOUTH OF 2 OR 3 WITNESSES SHALL EVERY WORD BE ESTABLISHED (2 Corinthians 13:1)

The ruling was very Just and very sound.

Story story. The truth is that apc needs owerri to win 2019 presidential election. They need plateu and, ofcourse they do not need sokoto.
Everything has been mapped out.

No. The court can accept it since they can accept that of APC and they(PDP) took part in the election. The court asked INEC to submit their own results but they could not present any, later the police was subpoenaed and the results tally with that of APC. but, the tribunal and appeal court rejected the evidence because it was not submitted by the police in each polling units where the controversial results took place.
Whose result really should be believed
1. APC's
2. PDP's
3. INEC's

The results of INEC are like legal tender.

Let's Assume I printed fake Naira currency and CBN for one reason or the other decided to keep quiet and not give required evidence. Does that make my money a legal tender?

I believe that was what drove Justices of the Supreme Court to rule in Hope Uzodimma favour.
Yes it was. There is no other results anywhere than the one APC present in court. If they(PDP) have, they should show the world.

There was no concocted evidence. if it was concocted as INEC / IHEDIOHA claimed it was then they should provide proof to this effect by tendering their own copies to counter the one tendered. However they could not produce even one and you know why? It is because they know the one tendered is legit and if they tendered their own it would be the same as the one Uzodinma presented.

Plus at your words in bold. If Inec did not have a conclusive result why then did they go ahead to declare Ihedioha as winner?

This clearly shows that inec connived with ihedioha to rig the election in favour of PDP and then tried to stifle Uzodinma by deliberately cancelling his results without being able to provide documented proof why it was cancelled which is the norm. there must be an incidence form showing why any PU was cancelled. NONE EXISTED EXPLAINING WHY UZODINMAS VOTES WERE CANCELLED.

PDP tried to rig but God catch them.

The constitution of Nigeria empowers INEC to conduct elections. If INEC now failed to justify their countings, they should be forced to do that or someone prosecuted for distorting the fidelity of electoral result.

It is either that
INEC is compromised or
The Supreme Court is compromised.

Either way, someone must be brought to book

If CBN failed to show the evidence and other respondent(whose the outcome of the judgment may affect) in the matter can show other evidence, then the court will scrutinize the matter.

Why would INEC / IHEDIOHA suddenly decide to keep quiet and not provide counter evidence to their claim after the SC demanded they do so? This shows they have absolutely no counter evidence to that effect which means the ones Uzodinma actually submitted were valid and true.

Fake analysis.
It is not the duty of the court to accept any document presented by a plaintiff.
If such a principle is generally applied, society will collapse.
Imagine what thieves and fraudsters will gain if merely presenting a document to a court
automatically make it legit.

Imagine someone presented to the court a purported receipt to your phone claiming they own it.
Should the court give them the phone because they ask for it?

What if the only issuer of such receipts declares it to be fake?
Shouldn't that be sufficient?

What if the court discovers that the date on the presented receipt is fake, should
the court steal your phone and give it to the complainant?

What any sane, sensible person would have done when they discover that Uzodinma's
fake results actually makes the total votes greater than the accredited voters is to dismiss his case or
declare the election null and order a rerun.
Bro did you read the full judgement script?.
It was because the said 388 pulling units result was with the police and the commissioner was subpoenaed to bring the results also and previous cases that was cited by the judge had said that any material with the police can be relied on as evidence in court.
Bro let's leave sentiment, PDP really lost this case in a fair hearing...M nor be lawyer sha but I got it well after reading the judgement script like 3 times

The above questions raises some valid points that any reasonable Nigerian ought to be asking by now.

I already explained why Buhari had to use the CJN to deliver Imo to APC at all costs.

The answer is simple. Buhari will never relinquish power to a south-westerner in 2023. His covert plan for a third term (through that failed social media regulation bill) has been squashed, therefore his Plan B now is to use the South East to retain power in the north in 2023.

He believes the igbos will gladly accept and support a vice presidential slot under a new northern presidential candidate, this is why he needed to secure a state for APC in the South East at all cost.

But with this action, Buhari has just placed the final nail on the coffin of Nigeria's fourth republic and if Tinubu were to be really as smart as the South Westerners says he is, he ought to have seen the mene-teke-farsi on the wall by now.

It's 60 years since Nigeria gained independence, out of that 60, the North has been in power for over 40. How do you think they've been able to pull it off?

Divide and rule! They know how to create enmity between the Southerners (mainly yorubas and igbos) and then manipulate the side that bests suits their quest to retain power at all costs. The yorubas always boast of their education but truth is when it comes to political smartness, they are learners in the face of the North.

Besides, this judicial disgrace that the justice Tanko led Supreme Court just did in order to give Imo to APC at all costs is going to haunt Nigeria's fourth republic till it crumbles. INEC electoral results (democracy) will no longer determine who gets elected into office. All APC needs do is to simply print fake copies of electoral materials, take it to court, and their lawyer will quote this Imo judgment by the Supreme Court as a past judicial reference for why the fake copies must be accepted as valid proofs. The judge will have no option.

I keep repeating that the country called Nigeria is not feasible. Secession is inevitable. Igbos and yorubas can't mix. Same with Hausas,/fulanis and the other minorities. History has it thst the Yorubas, middle belts and Niger deltans are peaceful sets of people except when pushed to the edge. The excessive desire to rule by Hausas and Igbos, at the detriment of the other ethnicities, has been the cause of crisis and economic problems plaguing Nigeria since independence.

The map below best describes the only way forward for peace and prosperity for all Nigerians.
Southwest is Oduduwa Republic
Southsouth is Republic of Niger Delta (Rondel)
South East is Biafra.

This is the only way forward.

You're sense.less! When did the Igbo want to rule? It was the 1964 Western electoral crisis that made the military strike. And the coup was not planned by Igbo officers alone. Besides, it was the North that used Akintola to cause problem in the West. Some young military officers couldn't stomach the North's excessive use of power and Northern agenda, and they struck. Nigerians hailed them initially, but as saboteurs (like you), they turned around and called it an Igbo coup. What were the coups led by Buhari, Babangida and Gideon Orka called? Was the killing of Murtala Mohammed by the Middle Beltan soldiers called a Middle Belt assassination of a Head of State? Were other tribes killed as Igbos were killed in 1945? Or would Igbos fold their arms and watch themselves being wiped out of this world? Igbo is one of the most peaceful tribes, because they don't look for troubles. They've been in business all along. Just carry your wahala to Britain who foisted the North on others and leave Igbos alone. After all, the purpose of Tinubu and other South Western politicians was to support Buhari and then rule Nigeria afterwards.

Are the 388 polling units non-existent? If they were then INEC or Emeka Ihe dioha would have simply proved that. Seems elections actually took place but the original copies of the documents, which Hope Uzodimma's team tendered are hidden somewhere or were destroyed.
If INEC destroyed their own, why should PDP who the outcome of the judgment will affect most do? If they have, they should show the world now. Remember APGA and other parties also have those results.

The supreme court could have been impartial if they looked at the results from at least 10 parties out of the almost 60 parties that contested.

Only CBN can decide if a Naira currency is fake or legit. In a case where they keep quiet, it can only mean they have been compromised.

Why isn't the FG prosecuting/sacking some people within INEC for negligence or forgery?

I don’t know about the details of court judgement as regard the ekiti senate election where the pdp candidate went to court vs apc /INEC and she was able to prove beyond doubt she won the election and her valid votes were not completely given to her by INEC.the judges didn’t order for a rerun but the pdp senator was declared the winner.
Am sure in the coming days people will do research and enlighten us as regards previous similar judgements
