DELTA, NEXIM BANK TO HOST 2020 SOUTH-SOUTH ENLIGHTENMENT FORUM

Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) in conjunction with the Delta State Government is hosting the NEXIM South-South Enlightenment and Engagement Forum 2020 in Asaba, Delta State.

The theme is “Maximizing Export Potentials in the South South Region for Economic Growth” and will take place at the Dome Event Centre, Okpanam Road, Asaba from 28th – 30th January, 2020 at 8:00 am daily.

The Director General, Delta Investments Development Agency (DIDA) Olorogun Lucky Oghene-Omoru made this known in a release to the press in his office.

According to him the Government and the good people of Delta State heartily welcome foreign and local investors and all stakeholders to this unique event that is geared towards exposing investors to avenues to grow their investments in the export sector.

He stated that DIDA will continue to diligently pursue their mandate of facilitating and promoting both local and foreign investments in tandem with the SMART Agenda of His Excellency, Sen. (Dr,) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State.

We are using the opportunity of this unique hosting, to expose investors to the various investments opportunities in oil and gas, agriculture, aquaculture, solid minerals, energy, housing, transportation (road, air and sea port), education, healthcare, tourism and policies which enhance Ease of Doing Business in the state that have made Delta State the Preferred Investors Haven.

He further stated that DIDA is mandated to promote, develop and regulate investments and all concessions by leveraging on the comparative advantage of the State to accelerate investment inflow and diversify the economy away from dependence on oil revenues.

Olorogun Oghene-Omoru encouraged both the local investors and other stakeholders to be part of the programme.
