Without wasting too much time, lets get right into ten of the most tragic events that has happened across the world just this month alone.
1. US Killing General Soleimani & Iran Retaliation

The United States blamed Iran’s General Qassem Soleimani for masterminding attacks by Iran-aligned militia on US forces in the Middle East.

US President Donald Trump ordered the January 3 drone strike in Iraq on Soleimani's convoy. Iran responded to the killing by launching missiles at US targets in Iraq on January 8, although no American soldiers died.

There has been speculations that full blown out war between both countries can lead to another World War.
2.Iran Shoots Down Ukrainian Plane

Iran and the United States of America have been at loggerheads for a minute and they both were looking for reasons to go off at each other and right after the U.S killed Iran's General Soleimani, Iran shot down an airplane they thought to be a U.S bound plane.

After the crash, they claimed it was an accident and several people were detained in Iran over the so called accidental shooting down of a Ukrainian passenger plane with a missile, the country's judiciary says. Ukrainian International Airlines flight PS752 was brought down shortly it took off from Tehran on Wednesday, killing all 176 people on board.

Most of the victims were Iranian and Canadian citizens. Iranians thought it was a US airplane and wanted to shoot it down in retaliation to the killing of General Soleimani.
3. President Donald Trump's Ongoing Impeachment

The impeachment trial of Donald Trump, the 45th and incumbent President of the United States, began in the United States Senate on January 16, 2020, and is currently ongoing. It is a result of the impeachment of President Trump by the U.S. House of Representatives on December 18, 2019, following an inquiry stage that lasted from September to November 2019.

The House passed two articles of impeachment, charging him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. At the start of the trial, Republican Senators successfully blocked attempts to subpoena testimony from White House officials, and also thwarted subpoenas for documents the Trump administration had previously withheld from House impeachment investigators.
