They say Buhari is incompetent but everyday he keeps doing things PDP never did and could never do in their entire 16yrs of failed leadership.

He is showing through action that he is competent.

For the first time in decades the Eastern ports are coming alive with vessels

And for 16 years, PDP could not offload even hand paddled canoes outside Lagos. Yet, the useless clowns went to tell USA to help them with Nigeria election. USA whose election was rigged by school children in Russia. Please let APC continue rigging and ruling.

This is what we have all been clamouring for.. Decongest Lagos port and give opportunity to other ports in Nigeria.

SS governors should seized this opportunity to tighten the security of their region.. More job opportunities to your people while that will ease state government stress

You are a very depressed soul
What Lagos the only port in Nigeria before? Why must the govt refused other regions port services in the first place? It is simply an belatedly late economic indecision by the government.Well, as zombies, whatever the failure does is always right.

Where did the government refuse other ports services when they have been busy upgrading and dredging those ports in order to be able to handle vessels accordingly.

Abi you dey smoke gin?

However, the Buharimaniacs are well maniacs. They are maniacal...attack dogs,..bull-terriers.They can no longer even engage in rational logical discussion about the president or his policies.

Buharimaniacs are of the conviction that Nigeria is now legitimately the property of the president. The rest of us are here simply by his grace & generosity.

Senselessness as usual.

The reality on ground is that Lagos terminal is being decongested and vessels diverted to ports in the Niger Delta and so on.

I know it really hurts you whenever you read about practical moves by Buhari which expose the senseless posts you make as posts from a PAID eternally bitter propagandist who has sold his sight and senses for pittance.

Very commendable. However I have my fears about the warri terminal. The youths will constitute themselves into greater nuisance

Re: NPA Begins Moving Commercial Vessels Out Of Lagos by Maxymilliano(m): 7:34am On Jan 30, 2020
The move was borne out of necessity due to heavy congestion at the Port occasioned by the border closure, which compels most vessels designated for Lome or Cotonou en route Nigeria ab initio to redirect to Nigeria Ports.

This has caused sever backlogs, causing vessels to be held for several days.

Currently, it takes an average of 10 weeks for vessels to berth due to the congestions and additional 2 weeks for your containers to find its way out of the Port.

A good development, no doubt but I don't really see it as masterstroke, except you are probably still being spoonfed and have not really ventured into real business.

Wait lemme read

First of all , This was PDP's idea and Obasanjo paid for it , Jonathan paid for it , all of them paid for it , Except the Eastern Ports never functioned probably because all those contracts and monies to dredge , build , repair ports went to voicemail

Buhari talked and did , NPA then decides to use this port , i presume it'll not be to decongest LagPorts alone, once traffic starts arriving at Eastern Ports then economy is definitely growing there , Job opportunities, infrastructures , investments, e.t.c

if you think about it , the rail will get some traffic too from this new move

Buhari laid plans out and he's working towards it , unfortunately this is the same person the EASTERN region hates so much

well done and kudos to FG and NPA and everybody involved

Modified : I just saw idiots saying this is a trojan gift from presidency , but that does not bother me

What is making me real angry right now is one idiot said Buhari remembers eastern port because Lagos port is congested, Biko , did lagos port just get congested yesterday ? Lagos port has been congested since Lagos was Lagos and NO PRESIDENT ever thought of diverting anything to the east

some people really shouldn't procreate , that's why we have generation of imbecilic , hate filled low IQ idiots in this generation

the delays in Lagos increased as a result of ships going to Benin Republic before, now coming to Nigeria directly.
its only logical they are diverted to other ports. this is a good development.

gain from border closure

Great. I hope with this move the conspiracy theorists that claim the yoruba are using Lagos ports to drive them from their region will now shut their mouths. This development is way overdue abeg. Lagos needs to be decongested, and that includes its ports.
