My Opinion on the incessant condemnation of IPAD/ ELECTRONIC BIBLES IN CHURCHES-Bishop Emmah Isong

1. THERE IS NO WORD 'BIBLE' in the BIBLE - if we must insist then THE most "ORIGINAL" FORM OF SCRIPTURES WAS the 'SCROLL & PACHMENTS' not the paper BIBLE.

2. IF THE GOSPEL IS presently being PREACHED on TV and ELECTRONIC MEDIA, what is wrong ALSO reading it ELECTRONICALLY - phones,
IPAD/ Etc.

3. The SCRIPTURES DID NOT only mean PAPER BIBLE when it says in Jos.1v8 "THIS BOOK OF THE LAW" - afterall we now have ONLINE BOOKS IN AMAZON ETC.

4. GOD only frowns at ADDING OR SUBTRACTING FROM THE SCRIPTURES not the FORM IT IS READ ( Remember the word is to be ultimately written in our hearts not on paper).

5. The actual WORD of God is the spirit that gives life and not the letter that killeth

6. We can only encourage believers in addition to any ELECTRONIC BIBLE to also own a paper ( traditional ) Bible as a way of sustaining the old "CULTURE" in CHRISTIANITY ,
Also buying a hard copy Bible accrues some income to THE BIBLE SOCIETY . NOT THAT ELECTRONIC BIBLE IS WRONG. NO, THATS TAKING IT TOO FAR .

7. Let us rather spend more time and energy on WEIGHTIER matters of our faith: SALVATION OF SOULS, THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS , THE UNITY OF THE CHURCH, NATION BUILDING and personal Revival/ Ministrying to the SAINTS.
