Victim Of A Failed System A Story About 2 Great Nigerians by Obanaijacom: 5:40am On Feb 06, 2020
Ken Saro Wiwa was Gen. Abacha's good friend before and after the civil war. They were family friends and those that still remember have not forgotten how Gen. Abacha used to visit Ken's home in Port Harcourt in those eerie days. Their friendship was so strong or Ken had misjudged that at the height of his ordeal he never believed that Gen. Abacha will kill him, based on his misplaced assumption and confidence he had on their friendship, honed over the years. No wonder he laughed outlandishly and beamed with smiles during his trials. But he was wrong. It was a fatal miscalculation. Against Ken's expectation, he was killed by Gen. Abacha his friend, thrown into an unmarked grave with his friends and their bones dissolved with acid beyond recognition.
Moshood Abiola was Gen. Babangida's good friend. He was one of the business moguls that funded military coups in Nigeria. Before he participated in the presidential election that finally cost him his life, he sought permission from Gen. Babangida who informed him that he was willing to hand over once a winner emerged. IBB annulled the June 12, 1992, presidential election. Moshood Abiola was murdered while in prison. IBB made it clear to him, "My hands are tied. They will kill us if I hand over the presidency to you". Who are the "they"?
Let me not even burden you with how Gen. Oladipo Diya was lured into a phantom coup by Gen Bamayi working undercover for Gen. Abacha which ruined his military career. Gen. Diya was then the highest military officer under Gen. Abacha and stands to inherit the office of the head of state in the unlikely event that Abacha vacates office so had to be tamed.
Why was Ken killed? He stood against the 2nd interest of the Caliphate which was oil.
Why was Abiola killed? He stood against the 1st interest of the Caliphate which was leadership.
The Caliphate settled the murder of Ken with mere resource control which never helped his region in any way. The Niger Delta region is an environmental disaster while many of her children are slaves to the Caliphate. What then did Ken and others died for? Nothing.
The Caliphate settled Abiola's murder with Yoruba presidency for 8 years yet the Southwest remains underdeveloped and poor.
There are millions of dolts still believing and working hard to realize the utopian Nigeria that never was, never is and never going to be. Till today Ken's brothers and Abiola's relatives are fighting to outshine one another in service to those that murdered their sons who they claim to value so much. The same people that turned many of them into functional slaves.
You had thought that those at the receiving end of these injustices will receive sense, but no, they are the ones still cheering at their stupidity and jeering those with enough common sense to identify the illusion they stand on.
The bottom line is that Ken and Abiola died for nothing. Like I always say, those that fight for one Nigeria will return disgraced.
Osibanjo is a small fly. He is simply repeating the lessons of history which many of us learned long ago. He will be disgraced like others.
If you go through political events that took place in Nigeria from 1960 to date, one won't but agree that Southern Nigeria has the highest concentration of idiots in the world.
There is a reason why I concluded that Nigeria is an irredeemable jungle. There is also a reason why I believe that the only possibility towards finding a progressive, prosperous and functional nation lies inhomogeneity.
May God hasten the demise of this slave camp. May the prisoners have enough sense to break jail and free themselves from Fulani slavery.

"... one won't but agree that Southern Nigeria has the highest concentration of idiots in the world." Yessooo! Especially SS where I am from.

And as the writer of the post says, Osinbajo is idiotic now. His Professor title is meaningless. He is just a useful idiot for Dictator Gen Buhari's plans against indigenous people of Nigeria.

Abiola was a coup sponsor, he also made a lot of money from his closeness to those in power.
He dinned with the devil but forgot to use a long fork so he got what he deserved.

This is one of the pain of Democracy. Truly we are entitled to our opinions but not to the detriment of others.
Thank God for records and Google you can always go back to history and find out things for yourself less someone cloud your sense of judgement with hatred

You started off with disjointed premises and ended with the most outlandish conclusion. Sincerely this OP should just stick to writing Asaba Nollywood scripts which do not require too much IQ from the audience.
