But these are official vehicles for official purposes paid for by PUBLIC funds. There was a time in the 70's and 80's when Peugeot was the official brand of government simply because they were assembled in Nigeria. There were far better brands around the globe but the candle of nationalism still flickered aibeit dying. Now their shame knows no bounds.

you also should also show you have an IQ high enough to realise that Innoson is not the only vehicle assembly/manufacturing plant in Nigeria. There is honda, peugeot, JAC, hyundai, kia, Nissan, to name just a few. ALL with the exception of possibly JAC (which I am not familiar with and is another Chinese product) are better quality cars than Innoson. Innoson belongs to Innoson but as a Nigerian company should get as much patronage as the other companies mentioned. It then becomes a question of quality and support. Innoson has no right to saddle Nigeria with inferior products and expect to be patronised when there are other Nigerian assembly plants producing better quality products with better after sales service network. There is nothing innoson is doing that the other Asembly plants are not doing. Innoson is not a made in Nigeria car. It is a Chinese brand assembled in Nigeria and rebranded. None of his cars are truly Nigerian in the true sense of it. he is simply assembling/manufacturing Chinese cars and sticking his badge on it. If he were a truly Nigerian car, i can understand the sentiment but they arent, the are rebadged Chinese cars!!! You should try and display some intelligence if you have any!

If innoson wants patronage, he should improve his products and his presence and stop trying to compete with global auto players with okada mentality. A man who will not even spend money on advertising, dealer netowrk, quite frankly is setting himself up for failure....this is not importing Okada and assembling!! My blood brother has no right to expect me to patronise his restaurant, if the food he sells is unpalatable, below my standards with my own money. I will wish him well and hope he finds customers for his level of service or advice him to up his game if he expects me to spend money there and for his own sake too. On the issue of public procurement, neither do I expect a govt agency in his locality to hire him to cater for their events simply because he pays taxes to the govt and provides jobs for the community if he is going to serve them food that the guests will not like, when there are other restaurants that serve good food, provide jobs and pay taxes.. the truth about this matter is if you have a desirable product, you wont have to beg and play the sentimental card to get customers.
