99% of the blame goes to NCS that didnt provide escort to the warehouse. Even a Nigerian importer will do the same if given such privilege

We are always our own enemies in this country. There are top govt/customs officials benefitting from this and that is why they look aside and do nothing about any evil being committed against this country.

To any fools here defending Indians you appear to have short memories. Africans in India, nevermind Nigerians are treated very badly by the local population, facing assault and some have even been killed.

Regardless of lax customs officials these individuals should be paying tax and respecting our nation. Otherwise they should be deported.

I swear some stupid Nigerians here would let any foreign group off the hook for their bad behaviour..

I doubt Niggerian businessmen enjoy that fast track. The customs wont go and harrass the Indians or shut down their warehouses. It is the Niggerian businessman that is their target

Serious allegations

It's not Indians, it's the custom that should be blame.

Custom are to impose the rules but what do you see?

This are Nigerians that are suppose to protect the system from abuse.

President Buhari is doing alot to improve this country but the Nigerians that are suppose to play thier part and compliment him are sabotaging the system.

There is the need to have private citizens empowered to monitor the activities of this agency just like we have in mystery shoppers

My thoughts exactly, these people will help tarnish the image of Nigeria, stealing and not paying. But if it's our brothers over there, they'll sue them, take all their goods and send them empty hand back to Africa.

When will we rise as one against these people? We are so greedy, we don't think of other Nigerians.

Beware of this news!.

I came in to read concrete proof of abuse but the report has no substance. This's most likely a smear campaign by a rival company against hard working Indians.

Indians, Chinese and Lebanese are our problem in this country. We should stop giving these people free visa

If you stop giving them visa, fast tracking goods through customs will completely stop, all corruption in Nigeria will miraculously go away and Nigerians will all become angels of light running the best and most advanced economy and technology on the planet, and we will magnanimously bestow our advanced practises on the rest of the world to eradicate crime, hunger and disease.

Well done. I do believe that you have found the perfect solution to the problem of corruption in the NCS and the betterment of the whole of mankind. I so love these fast track, but well thought out, solutions.

Smh.

It is peculiar to most importers, and not just the Indians owned conglomerates.

The loop holes in the Fastrack system couldn't have been exploited without active connivance and involvement of Custom officers.

Blame the government regulators, and not the players in the industry.

I think the company involved is The Tolaram Group.

Did you mean to say Chalaram Group?

Tolaram Group currently controls Dufil Prima (Indomie), Power Oil, Kellogs, Arla Foods (Dano), Hypo etc and been run by Indians presently.

It is the same customs officials that would collect kickbacks and still underpay the custom duty for importers! They know what they are doing. Many NCS staff are criminals.

Indians are masters of fraud and money laundering. Go to Dubai if you don't believe me. That's where many of them hide their money.
