akdjr: Of course, the judgment made zero sense, obviously, the idea was to sack the incoming governor by any means necessary so they came up with the most absurd and ridiculous infraction that's not even a technicality. What they should have done, have the Deputy governor-elect submit an affidavit to clarify his real and preferred name since the issue was not a case of about impersonation, but a candidate using different names. Unfortunately for the SC, they boxed themselves in with their judgment because the person they are trying to rig into office doesn't have the constitutionally required spread to be sworn in, unless the SC is asserting that the constitution and electoral laws or even the laws of Nigeria are all totally irrelevant and beneath the SC. The SC with this judgment looks like dumb crooks because they did not think through or closely scrutinize their judgment or consider what happens next per the constitution and electoral laws. 1 Like |

HIGHESTPOPORI:Please don't put incorruptible and Mary Odili in one sentence so you don't abuse the word incorruptible. We're talking about a woman that helped procure an injunction that prevents her husband from being investigated and prosecuted perpetually after his time as governor. That's the highest form of corruption. Just because she is doing the biddings of you and your tribesmen and party just like the other faction in the Supreme Court are doing doesn't mean you should insult the sensibilities of fair-minded people. 1 Like |
