Have you considered the advantages of doing removing slabs all through for the top of soakaways? One of them being that in the future, people might have to go in to dig out sediments of waste, they can't do that from that small hole in this fixed one.

The main soakaway has removable slabs. The pictures I showed were just the inspiration chambers and even though they were sealed with cement, we can open it easily to fix any flow issues.

The whole painting budget is about N1.1m for everything. This is because of the type and quality of paints used.
