Perharps this is a parting gift from CNN to OBJ ffor providing them with sensational stories. Remember Jeff who caused a national outcry when he reported in CNN that Nigerians desired the return of the military to power and an even louder outcry when he shot the infamous Niger delta hostages in captivity? this led to a rebuttal from our minister of info. Frank Nweke on CNN but the interviewer JIM CLANCY succeed in making the minister look absolutely ridiculous for describing the report as fictitious and CONTRIVED. Now word is out The Nigerian govt was right afterall (?) and CNN isnt commenting. The bubble burst from a rape incident involving jeff which led to his eexposure now the report ( hostage)has almost been substantiated to be CONTRIVED yet CNN isnt issuing an apology to NIgerians or the Nigerian Govt. this smirks of double standards and perharps confirms it that the cnnn delights in negative reporting.

Good for him. I never liked the guy anyway. He always seemed to sell his people negatively to the west. We agree that bad things happen in Africa but so also are many wonderfull good attributes going on a daily basis. The only time Jeff Koinange reports is when somewhere is burning, rioting, at war or some negative shit is going on.

Good riddance to bad rubbish is all i will say!

Actually, it was all about Nigeria. Jeff Koinange sold his soul to the Devil and promised CNN the grimest of stories from his own motherland.
Anyway, the bottomline is that the story Jeff covered about Nigeria caused some problems for CNN. They lost the Nigerian image laundering contract. Also, the story itself get K leg. Jeff did not come to Nigeria on his own. Someone from MEND invited him. However by the time he concluded the interview and returned. That same person had sent another message to CNN asking why they didn't send anybody down to him. Well, if you noticed, they began to feature Femi okay and Jeff together on Inside Africa with a plan to let her take over from him. The rape thing was just an opportunity that presented itself.
I started enjoying his negativity and pessimism. Just when you think something was at it worst, Jeff Koinange would make hell look cool compared to that situation. But only on one condition: as long as it's in Africa.
