Wow. That is a far better option than keke.

It actually looks like a proper vehicle.

Why are you people complaining?

You prefer to live like animals, riding in those wretched keke things?

In fact we need entrepreneurs to come together and build stuff like this to replace those primitive tricycles.

Well done, Mr Governor.

The problem is not about traffic.

It is about safety and aesthetics.

Those keke things have no business in a modern 21st century city.

So until we have perfect roads we must all ride in keke?

The way some of you reason is just crazy.

You just criticise for the sake of criticising.

Out of impulse.

Sometimes try and use your head.

It's not about traffic but aesthetics? Are you being serious here? Do you stay in Lagos?

Dude, traffic is Lagos' major challenge and only a layman would sacrifice that on the alter of aesthetics.

The advantage I see with these new vehicles is that they'll be much easier to control since they'll share the road with other vehicles unlike tricycles that drive by the sides, violating every road sign and scratching people's cars every now and then.

That's good this is what we need, not that useless tricycle and I think this one look a little bit mature, this is a very good development. Thanks governor.

This will be worst than keke, I remember how we sang songs of joy the time they banned bike, we all praised keke. Today keke has become a.major problem in most cities..Government should focus on luxury buses...And possibly monorail

The problem is not with keke or okada, but recklessness, impatience, bad road network, poor coordination and control, corruption (bribery), and sheer lawlessness.

These buses - if true, and driven by similar set of people driving danfo/keke/okada - are also going to become a problem very soon if they're not properly controlled.

If they're small enough to take the spaces on the sides, trust me, these ones too will drive by the sides. The most important thing is control.

Yea, definitely. A man's loss is another man's gain.

Nevertheless, this is a far more better option to making Lagos a serene city.

Tinubu is covertly milking Lagos but I must admit that he still obeys the late Chuba Okadigbo's famous quote. The quote is "as a politician, never allow your bad deeds supersede your good deeds".
The quote is much more better understood and meaningful in Igbo language.

Am not sure it's lagos state government initiative. It's probably a local business entrepreneur trying to cash out . The question is how safe is it to operate on those major routes that those keke were ban from for safety reasons ? ,Like someone rightly pointed out with time the same criminals that use to.operates keke and okada will have access to it , and we are back on square one . I repeat this is not Lagos state initiative the op is fueling a fake news, as this is not on lagos state official site .

Apparently, since the sport of golf isn't really our thing in this part of the world, many Nigerians don't know what a 'golf cart' is or what golf carts really look like.

Or how do you explain referring to those things in that picture as 'golf carts'

Those vehicles/contraptions ain't golf carts. I've seen enough golf carts to know one from a thousand miles away when I see it.

I am interested in the supplier and the management of this new transport system (another political stakeholder) ...

It's a good idea only if those that lost their only means of survival because of the outright ban can be involved in it.

the problem is they still not going to use the road , they will keep coming from sides ,

let's see how it goes

just like okada riders migrated to Keke drivers , this is how Keke drivers will migrate to this too
