Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has commissioned a 6km road leading to the houses of former governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Eyitayo Jegede, former Commissioner for Urban Planning, Prince Solagbade Amodeni and others.

The 6km road is a network of strategic and peculiar roads in the Alagbaka GRA area of Akure. The road, which has been abandoned for the past 23 years, connects 17 streets and links Alagabaka to the Federal secretariat.

The Governor later took to his twitter account to throw a subtle shade at the former PDP Guber candidate in the state.

In his tweets, the Governor said "Morning @TayoJegedeSAN. I hope you like the new road I built in your neighborhood totalling about 6km. It was neglected for over 20 years. Now You'll have less vehicle issues when you start your campaign fully. #DevelopOndo #IbiGiga"

Lol Governor Akeredolu has shut the opposition up in Ondo State with his achievements. No wonder the PDP has been unusually mute in the state.

Aketi should be more concerned at the growing popularity of the powerful forces within his party that are likely to consume his second term ambition.

While this is a good development and progressive, the road designers did NOT consider walkways, and the property owners, setbacks.

It's high time our roads have dedicated walkways, bicycle and bus lanes.

People saying Akeredolu is working are funny. He hasn't done 1/10 of Mimiko's..

His projects are not captivating and never spectacular in any form..He hasn't done what anyone would say has never been done in any state. Mimiko came up with a mother and Child project, plus a few others and that were best among equals.

What killed that man was 'I-know-it-all' attitude, high handedness and other attitudes of a G man.

I stand to be corrected, Akeredolu is doing nothing. It has been News brokerage all along.
