Dat bad mehn but I can't travel to any Africa country anymore, it makes no sense to me, we have the population for business and we arethe biggest economy... Around 2009 someone decieved me into going to gambia, when I got to Gambia, I saw that with little population this guys are not as developed as they should be, I had to cross back to naija... Our government should intervene on this issues, especially as it regards to this border closure

But your mate dey drive GLK450 Wey come from Gambia how many head them get?

My brother...do you think Nigerians are not free to move around here?? How many have passport or resident permit?
But that's not the bone of contention o...
There are laid down rules and it's expected that everyone concerned should obey it.
If nigeria feels she doesn't need such laws no one is against that either...
Again FYI, many Nigerians are married to Ghanaian women and this has been the norm for up to 80 years that I can tell so no issues on that.
See, let the traders tell the Ghana Union who by government approval laid down those laws that they should repeal it and if the GUTA feels so obliged they can do so! Before then....laws remain laws and any violation will be taken seriously.

Forget that passport and work permit talk, this is Ecowas and Africa.

If the work permit and passport was an issue, it should have be requested before renting the shop to them, rather than locking their goods after they have paid rent.

Further, that video is from a Ghanaian news site and it reflecets the extent to which Ghanaians live peacefully in Nigeria free of harassment to the extent that they are trading even on the street in the far eastern city of Port Harcourt.

We use dat as example, without even entering Lagos or Abuja or Ogun State, Kano, Kwara State.

Those Ghanaian in the video, do u think they have work permit or passport?

As for marrying women, nobody marry Nigerian women more than Ghanaian men, u even marry from our elite household, so spare me that talk of Nigeria men taking our women nonsense.

Below is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's daughter, Sharon weds Phillip Frimpong, their are many more.

I'm happy at the level of maturity you are displaying in this issue...
But sir, I know you will also see it differently if you come to lapaz, Madina, Accra, Abokobi, Mpraeso, and some other places...the shop owners there haven't had any issues! Many are my friends too...
As per the marriage issue, I think more nigeria men married Ghanaian women! Tomorrow I'll do a census... cheesy

Everything Nigeria will look more, 200million is not samething as 30million.

Proportionality should always apply.

If anything, trading restriction might force some in that direction.

This is another one of your brothers.

To do what?
Guy pls stop this nonsense mentality.
Do you think they left home to play?
How have you helped the beggars that are home?
Stop asking people to do what you cannot do.
Are you living in your village now? Is your present location the town where your grandfather was buried?
You may be in a town somewhere making this noise. They are telling you that People's investments and life-earnings are locked up and you are asking them to come home.
Some things are not funny

See as the Ghanaian man opened his shop but others shops under lock.
Black people are the major problem of the world today.
They hate themselves and white people hate them too.

[Dangote Cement reported a profit after tax of N200 billion representing a massive 49% drop in profits from a year earlier. The drop in profits was mostly driven by stunted growth in its local and Pan African businesses.

Segment performance
Nigeria: The cement giant reported revenues of N610.2 billion in 2019 compared to N618.3 billion a year earlier. Profit after tax was N275.1 billion in 2019 compared to N491.6 billion in 2018. EBITDA, a notable performance measure for institutional investors was N361 billion down from N397 billion placing operating expenditure as the major drivers of profitability drop.

Pan Africa: The cement giant reported revenue of N891.7 billion compared to N901 billion a year earlier. Revenue from business outside Nigeria was N282.7 billion compared to N283.2 billion a year earlier. However, it continued to report losses from its Pan African business with a loss after tax of N85.2 billion compared to N87.8 billion in losses.

[color=#006600 Border closure to blame:[/color] A report from Reuters revealed Dangote Cement blamed the border closure for affecting exports to other African countries thus hurting top and bottom-line growth. Outgoing Dangote Cement CEO, Joseph Makoju reportedly blamed border closure for leading a drop in exports from 0.7 million tonnes in both 2018 and 2017 to 0.5 million tonnes in 2019.]
