My brother, I thought they said the decision or judgement of the Supreme court is final so I am surprised with all these drama going on in Bayelsa. It is so sad that things going the other way round. I don't understand what's all these noise all about

How can the supreme Court reverse it's own judgement. You are all mad. What on Earth is wrong with Nigerians.

How can a final court of Justice reverse it's own judgement.

God why did you drop me in this country.
Who told you that Supreme Court can’t reverse itself? It has happened before, this is not the first time. When there is clerical error or error in judgment, Supreme Court can reverse itself.

Ok. I guess democracy will be in danger if the wish of PDP is not granted. Lol.
Honestly even if the supreme court observes flaws in its judgement it cannot reverse itself in the same case. That will be done in future case.
Reversing it self in the same case will open a flood gate it cannot control.
That essentially was the reason for Bayelsa today. PDP is just amusing us as usual with its conspiracy theories.

There is no error in Bayelsa judgement. The certificates are different. So, why do you think the judgement will be reversed.

As for IMO, the supreme court made a lot of mistakes and if the judgement stands many election fraud will occur. Politicians will have the gut to write results for cancelled polling units and give to police to present in court. Again, accredited voters, collected PVC and number of votes cast won't matter in determining the winner. Just to declare the highest number.

This makes me remember a story of tortoise:
Tortoise was found wanting for an offence, the king ordered for his arrest..
The officials visited him on purpose of arrest. He obliged but made a singular request; that they should allow him do something before they eventually arrest him. His request was granted but within a minute.
He circulated a circumference within a range of sight scratching the ground and came back to his arrestors and surrendered himself...
The leader of the arresting team out of amazement and curiosity asked him, 'why did you do that?'
He replied by saying; I want everybody that comes to this site after taking me away to know that I fought a good battle and you did not take me away just the way you would have picked a snail...

Supreme Court will reverse the judgment in your dream.

Here is what I don’t understand about people like u: Can’t u forget having a sentimental favorite for a second, and just step back and broadly look at what it is u r supporting??
Can’t u see that if this embarrassment of a judgement is let stand it diminishes every Nigerian including you yourself? Because it blatantly rewards clear cheating and forgery that even kids can tell is cheating and forgery. How can u teach children about not cheating when they can see for themselves that the final court in the land rewards cheating and forgery?? Also, at the very least, it greatly reduces your ability to have a say in who governs u because it allows for any ruling party to “win” any election it wishes, which will inevitably lead to a one-party country.

A Supreme Court overrules all lower courts plus INEC in order to replace an 8-month gov with a 4th place finisher, all based on clearly fraudulent documents. And here u are, gloating about it!

Anyway, whatever happens, the leaders of thought in the country are watching the case. They understand what is at stake and have made their positions clear.

Ihedioha Vs Uzodinma: Civil Society Leaders Urge Supreme Court To Reverse Judgment

BY SAHARAREPORTERS, FEB 11, 2020

Leaders of civil society in Nigeria have asked the Supreme Court to set aside its judgment pronouncing Hope Uzodinma as duly elected governor of Imo State...

The group posited that the court erred in its judgment and faulted the process through which the apex court arrived at the decision.
In the statement signed by Dr Olusegun Awe Obe, the Concerned Leaders of Thought and Conscience in Project Nigeria, highlighted reasons the court should not have pronounced Uzodinma as winner of the election...

Press Statement

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alerts that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently mounting pressure on the Supreme Court to restrain itself from reversing the flawed judgment on the Imo State Governorship election despite obvious mistakes in that judgement, which is now threatening the stability of our nation.

The party, which hailed Wednesday's verdict of the Supreme Court on Bayelsa state governorship election, however noted that the elements and grounds for the demands by the PDP and majority of Nigerians for the reversal of Imo state governorship election judgment are completely different from those of Bayelsa.

The PDP explained that its demand on Imo is not in any way in contestation of the authority and finality of the Supreme Court but a patriotic effort to assist the Supreme Court affirm its infallibility by correcting the inherent mistakes in the judgment which came as a result of misleading presentation to it by the APC.

It is therefore instructive to note that the various election matters before the Supreme Court were brought on clearly distinctive grounds and each should be treated on its merit before the law.

The party said the only reason APC was pushing for a review of the Supreme Court’s valid and flawless judgment on the Bayelsa and Zamfara governorship elections was to cause confusion and blackmail the Supreme Court from treating the Imo case on merit.

The PDP maintained that the grounds for the reversal of Imo judgment are unambiguously constitutional and completely distinct from APC’s attempt to blackmail the Supreme Court with their demands on the Bayelsa and Zamfara states governorship election.

The party therefore urged the Supreme Court not to succumb to the threats and blackmail by APC to push it restrain itself from looking at the merit of the Imo case; correcting the mistakes and reversing the flawed judgment.

For those of us that are not card carrying members of any political party, but only vote for good men and women that we believe can move their immediate environment forward (same reason all of us @[/b] voted for our darling Daddy in the presidential election and voted for another candidate in another party in our state of residence, no apologies to Sanwo-Olu!)

Elections In Nigeria now,
There is no need to fear.
Why? Because the will of Nigerians will not be subverted. Never! A President once told us in this country that the coming polls would be do or die.
Not with President Buhari. Fair is fair. No foul play. Under his watch, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa(now twice), Oyo State, Zamfara state and Anambra states.
At the last Council of States meeting, Gov Willie Obiano publicly registered his appreciation to President Buhari, for the level playing ground he made available during the election in his state. With do or die apostles, and a certain political party in power, such would never happen. Not with their garrison mentality. All states are territories that must be conquered, willy-nilly.

APC has won gubernatorial positions under Buhari in Kogi, Ondo and Edo states. The victories were fair and square. The party lost in Bayelsa (twice), Zamfara, Oyo, Anambra etc.
This President would never manipulate victory for anyone, not even his own party. And you ask us not to trust him?
We will, and no mistake.

Pls I want to reason with you pls be Frank... No doubt Supreme Court is the final stop...but in a case that the SC fails to check figures and it makes the judgement imbalance , what else can be done , I know it not in the power of the SC to order for rerun, and Gov Hope was able to prove that his votes were truely canceled in more than 300 polling unit, but the SC didn't check the figures to see if it tallies with either numbers of people that collected PVCs in Those PUs, and even the accredited voters. Now that judgement has been passed , what is the implication in the future ?, Because a SC judge agreed to such mistake in the Case of Baba Tinubu that he discharged him out of errors from fraud cases, and the judgent stand to today. In the case of Imo, what is the future implication ?, Because o know for sure that the SC doesn't have the power to other for rerun and the proved canceled votes when granted and added it would exceed the total numbers of even total numbers of voters who collected voters card not to talk of the lesser number of accredited voters ?...pls explain this for me for future purpose , because any judge can make reference to this IMo case in the future to pass judgement...pls educate me more if what the SC did was the best ?
The number of accredited voters doesn't arise here because of the excluded votes in the units mentioned. It is is simply logical. Besides I don't think supreme Court will want to temper with that judgement irrespective of error. They judges will simple make technical statements and closed it.

Read the first paragraph, it says no error was made in the earlier judgement. That lead to the other reasons gave by the other judges. Remember, the judges gave individual verdict.

If IMO judgement stands, then there will be very big problem in election matter.

Supreme Court won't reverse any judgement. They used Bayelsa, which even an illiterate knows was an obvious win for PDP, to state their position of IRREVERSIBILITY

Bayelsa case is different. Similarly cases have occurred before.

You are stupid, if not mad.

CanadaOrBust:

Ok; could u please elaborate sir. Can u tell us exactly what is “stupid, if not mad” about the post or the people mentioned
