me, with a beer at hand, sitting in the bar lounge. i always was hurried by my nigerian friends to go back to my accommodation before 9pm. they said it was not safe for me to go too late, and maybe they just did not want to escort me back too late. i would always ring my friend's phone after i arrived at my house. i liked waiting in darkness , 9pm or later, on a muddy rural empty road, for a bike, with my considerate but silent friend(s). it gave me a very exotic feeling.

the bar owner. he was extremely welcoming me . a big smile on his face, although out of some reason you may not see it . just imagine. every time of revelry , i would spend 15000naira or more for two or three people. that was optimistic for him. 1 Like

this time we had 4 people, two of my best buddies, and one impromptu. 2 more girls forced themselves to join in. i just said, well, if you drink, you pay. but my friends invited them, and then i paid . it was a disastrous racketing. 1 Like

lots of selfie, close-up, stealth snap. they even took a photo of my playfully kissing one of my friends. i just totally had no memory of this and i waited 2 hours in the bar before we headed to eat something to placate our rioting stomachs . and then i stumbled on the bus home. i remember, i kept saying in yoruba "i am drunk" to the nigerian sitting next to me.
