We all have fears or get scared sometimes. How you deal with those fears is more important to me than the fear itself.

Let me share with you a funny...or not so funny story. Back when I was in high school. I believe I was in grade 9. Anyway, this one girl in our class was bullying my friend. My friend was the type that didn't stand up for herself, which made things worse. I didn't get involved in the beginning, but after watching it happen almost daily, I finally stood up for her. These girls were a clique. 4 mean girls who engaged in "after school fights". I'm sure you know the type well lol. Standing up for my friend now made me their target & their leader told me that I must meet her after school, to fight. I was scared, I won't lie grin I've never fought anyone in my life. Geez. But you know what I did? When the final bell rang, I was there at the gate waiting for her! I was feeling a rush of adrenalin, pumped up by both fear & the fact that, in my head, I was planning my moves lol. They approach us (my friend was standing next to me), saw us standing there & they just went past. I breathed a sigh of relief. The moral of the story is, never show people you're scared. I didn't know the guy very well, but seeing him act like that made me to lose respect for him. I just do not find that attractive at all. Maybe it's my personality or whatever, but I admire people who hold themselves together even when they're falling apart. I have restraint (for the most part), so I sort of expect people to be able to hold their own. Feel whatever, but keep your composure.

A good story, and well done for reaching out.

Let me also share you a story that happened recently.

Last 4 days I was coming back from my Roadwalk in the midst of the hustle and bustle of everyone trying to beat traffic and get to work on time. There were lots of motorcycle plying the route they were only allowed to use. But again there was this big and long truck occupying the road and trying to make a u turn.

I suddenly noticed a young lady that immediately jumped from the motorcycle carrying her as the long truck got close, she was acting all scared, she held her head with her both hands and was shivering, fidgeting..I can say she was in Shock. She stood there right in the middle of the road as motorcycles were passing around her in speed...u can imagine the screams and insults from other road users.

In that her state of Shock she decided to run, and guess what! She was running towards the incoming truck heads on, same truck she is scared of

I had to run riskying myself in the midst of the traffic to intercept what was about to happen, asked her to trust me as i held her handş, i felt the tremmor in her.

I guided her of the traffic to meet her motorcycle guy up front, out of curiosity i asked for her contact

Guess what, this lady almost got crushed by similar truck a month ago.

Everyone has different pain threshold and how they express it, the Borno women in nigeria give birth without any show of pain while some women die of pain shock of child birth. Likewise do people have different ways of managing or presenting post-traumatic conditions when it present itself.

U wount have known why he his scared of puppys.

Been afraid and even running away from what you think is danger is not cowardise

Cant say it was a relationship so there was no break up, we just can't be together cos of time, we want same thing at different times so no matter how we look at it, there can't be a compromise, but we are still in each other's life, bickering at each other, with mine being the highest and loudest lol, and no one is willing to let go, not yet anyway.
Yeah...I'm in something similar...we can't be together too...the sex is out of this world...like we actually discuss while at it...Lol...I make her say things she can't remember after...we can't do without talking to each other for long...we fight too but then we back again...she's willing to do anything I want in bed too...sometimes I wish things were just right...

We weren't really dating, just getting to know each other, but I was still unsure about him because he was short & kind of boring. He was eligible in every other aspect though- educated, extremely intelligent, good paying job, nice flat, a great cook etc. What made up my mind about him was something I'm sure many people wouldn't consider such a big deal. I found him a little cowardly lol. He was scared of dogs. He actually shrieked when two little ones were coming at us! I was like, um okay, no, he's not for me. I like guys with a bit devil may care in them, not one that screams like a banshee.

Weird you!

But pls note Love for God is different from Love for a guy.
Don’t get it twisted. You can actually love a guy, be discipline about what you don’t want, y’all both should agree to it.
Then see how Love of God ll grow in you.
You ll be forever thankful to God for bringing y’all both together, and ll always pray for eachother.

Don’t make that mistake again miss.

I broke up with a guy that gave me peace. I mean, this guy is tall, handsome, intelligent, yet not for one day in our one-year relationship did I have a cause to doubt his loyalty. But I had to break up with him due to some personal reasons.

He is truly the best I had dated. He'll always tell me, "Your type is rare." Always told me I was beautiful too when I referred to other girls as beautiful.

And the way we chat and 'yab' ourselves on WhatsApp, I'll always go back and read our conversations just to laugh. Once told him I do it, and he said he does the same! So many beautiful memories. We were extremely compatible.

Some times, I think to myself, I probably made the wrong decision. But in the end, I know it wasn't. My love for God should always be greater and without compromise.

People always tend to believe that there's something better out there. Sometimes, it's just an illusion, so, they are never contented or satisfied, they continue to move from one relationship to the other, some say it's the thrill of the chase.

A story is told of a General who took his troops to a battle, after crossing the bridge that led to the enemy's camp, he cut it off. He told his troops that there's no going back and they have to fight to stay alive.

If people adopt this mentality especially in good relationships we will have less of this philandering.

Lest I forget, anyone who thinks that there exists a perfect individual especially in character is self delusional. They key is to manage self and the other hence the need for emotional intelligence.

There's no Eldorado anywhere, it's an utopia, but we can create one ourselves especially with love as described in 1st Corinthians 13.

Anything other than this, people will continue to chase peace and love and it will elude them till their bones is laid in the dust.

If you don't know the entire story of an issue (especially when the person withholds key information), refrain from giving advice.

I don't know if you guys think you are smarter than other humans and they just take decisions without acting or thinking.

She got everything I need in a women but she lies alot and cheated on me.
I have told her a number of times to tell me the truth even if it hurts
But I must say that distance contributed to the breakup

My advice to any guys here, long distance relationship does not work
Just know that the gal will be collecting bola from another guy out there.
speak for yourself and your wayward ex. There are responsible women out there.

in movies, some actors are assigned bad roles to fulfill the movie maker's script or goal. Somebody must be the killer in the movie, somebody must be the bad girl that sleeps with other ladies's husbands, somebody must be the armed robber, etc.

Evil was designed alongside good to fulfill a desired end goal. Death was designed alongside life to fulfill a goal. Everything in life have a positive and the negative.

Life is like a movie, actors may not like a role but even if they don't like the role, it is only the movie producer abi director that can change their role on appeal, and that is if the movie director agrees to change their role as requested if not the actor have no other option but to perform the role preassigned to him or her by the director or producer.

The people acting the bad script side of life have no option because it was their assigned roles, only the ones who don't like the role can appeal for a change in role and if the movie producer or director wishes and have someone else to replace them with he may agree or reject.

Even Holy Books support this that life is predestined. Go and read about Pharaoh and the Israelis. Pharaoh was made to harden his heart even without his consent so that Egypt will be punished.

You are only being logical which is normal for a normal human like you to be. You are being logical as in, you are wondering why must somebody be predestined to be Hitler to kill millions That why must somebody be predestined to be a terrorist killing others That why must somebody be predestined to be killed by armed robbers Etc, it is not their decision to make, it is the decision of the script writer to make for reasons best known to the scripter just as actors cannot decide their roles or how the movie should end.

If you think you can decide how your life will end, then you are a dreamer because how you will die have already been predestined and you can only wish otherwise and appeal for change which may or may not be granted for reasons best known to the script writer of this life you are living.

Was there anything like Boko Haram in the 90s or 80s It was destined to come upon Nigeria when it did and if it's destined to end at a certain period, you won't even know how it will end, but it will just gradually come to an end like movie cinema.

I have written a full book about this, if you read it, your eyes will open and your perspective about life will change entirely cool

Don't fail to send me a copy when it's out.
