It happened in 2012 when I went to Kogi state university to write post UTME, after the exam and some days in Anyigba, I was on my way to Abia state, but before the journey, I went to an eatery with my friend to eat, after the food, I paid, and the guy that was selling the food gave me change that was more than my change, I told my friend the guy made a mistake that my change is more, I told him that I want to return the excess, he jokingly said if I try it that he'll slap me that instead of me returning the excess "change" that I should give it to him, I told him I won't return it again. After I bid my guy goodbye, he went his way, then I went back to the food seller and gave him the excess change...
I left Anyigba, when I got to Enugu that was where I met those guys, I got to peace park, as I was about going inside to take a car to Umuahia, one guy stopped me, he greeted me and I responded, I thought he was selling something, I told him I was in a haste, as I was about going, he stopped me again and pleaded for my audience, he said he came to Enugu from Cotonou with 50 laptops and 30 blackberry(blackberry then na hot cake na) that he kept very close to Fr. Mbaka's church that I should PLEASE follow him to the place so that he'll bring it from there to the park to sale, I told him I don't know the place o, then I left him. As I was going another guy came, he asked me what we were discussing, I told him, then the first guy came again and said if WE can help him locate where he kept those laptops and blackberry, that he'll give us one laptop each, the second guy said "let's give it a try" and as me mumu na, I was happy I was about owing a laptop, took a car, I paid for three of us(the "Cotonou" guy said he doesn't have naira note with him and that they'll cheat him if he pays with DOLLAR).
Got to old market, they already kept one keke there with a rider inside, when we got there, the first guy entered, I told the second guy to enter so that I'll not be in their middle, the guy said, I shouldn't worry that I should enter, I overheard the first guy telling the keke rider; "start a nu keke a na", meaning, start this keke na, as I was about entering the keke, my elder brother's call came in, after I finished answering the call, till today I didn't even know what happened, I just told them I was not interested again, that they should be going.
I took another car back to peace park, as I was discussing it with some people in the car, they said, those guys could be ritualist, and i started pondering, what if i had not returned that food seller's excess change? I can't forget that day, since then, I don get sense.
Have you had similar experience?

2014 i wanted to obtain my HND form, tho j had bn teling my mama dat i didn't tink i would obtain the form as a no too get bucks. But u know woman na, dem no go wan reason with u, na soo my mama dey force me say i must obtain the form dat year..ok na, where a wan see money kolet the form na, my mama say God go do am, ok na, na soo i lego dey look how God wan take do d do.

One week later, i was in my friends ous wen i recvd alert from my bank dat my SIWES alawans has bn paid..ghengehnnnnn, prayer don answer b dat. den i proceeded to ikorodu garage the third day to withdraw some of the money.
As i was just alighting from the bus, crossing to the ayangburen road na hin i see one black short but huge werey pushing wheelbarrow loaded with electronics of different types, starting from a very big and expensive sound system, tv, blender and d rest, in short i couldn't fathom how he arraged dem all inside that wheelbarrow.
Mind u, spoons, toothpaste, toothbrushes, pin, matches and other minnows are inside this wheelbarrow as well but they were well hidden soo dat u wont see dem outside..hmmm ayele oo. weda na juju dem use call me sef a no know cus u kept asking mysef how i got there.
Before i knew wat was happening, i have found mysef near this wheelbarrow, (something dat i hate doin, cus i dont bliv in betting, doubling, and d rest and i have never in my life engaged in it, dt was d first and d last tym) joining other people that was der and d guy was like, "you have a chance to win a set of sound system, tv, dvd and d rest. And me we just rent a one room apartment, guy go wan set hin room naa grin
I was told dat before i can pick a number i would hav to drop 5h, ok, no lele, i dropped it den i picked a number, he checked the number and scratched one paper corresponding to the number i took, he didn't scratch everything oo, just the middle and i he showed me, j saw "a set of" and dat was all i could see, other print were still sealed.
before i breathe down one guy don join us, posing as a stranger who also wanted to try his luck, the black werey told me dat before i could claim my winning i wil have to drop some certain amount which i cant remember now again, since my 5h is der and i didn't want to waste it den i told dem i want to go to d bank to make a withdrawal, den d new guy chose to escort me and i was wondering why would he choose to escort me wen he only came to try his luck as me?
well i got to d bank, placed a slip and all of a sudden i changed my mind, d guy was like "since i knew i was not interested i shouldn't hav wasted his tym" i wss like who sent u message??

To shorten the tori, i withdraw my siwes 10k, was even calling my mum to transfer some amount to me from her bank...lol, but mama refused den j took omly dat 10k to the black werey, he now opened the seal and i saw "a set of spoon" GBAGAUN!!! LOBATAN!! OPARI!! HND FORM MI HAS TURNED TO SPOONS.

I didn't tell anybody til this 2020 wen i told my Ex i was dating den. she was like Wale u can kill person.

Anyways, God consoled me and gave me a second chance as another 10k less #30 (#9970) was sent to me from another source which i did not know til today, na hin i used obtain the form.

But wat i deduced from the story is dat there are some people dat immediately u start doin tins with dem tins would start falling out of places cus dat is not d only tin i experienced before i braced mysef up.

This happened in 2016. I entered a taxi going to the junction. There were only two people in the car, the driver and a lady. Before we got to the junction the lady said she wanted to stop. So the driver parked and the lady brought out a dollar note and gave the driver. The driver told her that wasn't the currency we use here. So he offered to take her to where she would change the money to naira.
He changed direction immediately without telling me. I told him to stop let me come down that I'm not going with them. He told me that he would just take the woman doesn't know anywhere and they might cheat her and that after that he would take me to anywhere I'm going to. The lady was also begging me that she doesn't know how to count the Nigerian currency that I should come along so I can help her and that she would give me a laptop too if I help her. I just decided to help her. So while on our way, she gave me an envelop and asked me to dip it in water for 1 min. I did that and she took it from me and opened it and brought out 1000naira. She said she has cartons of these envelopes that those are the goods she brought from her country.
They took 1500naira from me that day with the excuse that she kept the goods somewhere and she has to pay before she collects it. As if that wasn't enough the driver was still asking me of my ATM card that don't I have money to transfer .
They later dropped me by the road, telling me to wait for them to bring the goods. I only had 50naira left. And I needed 150naira to get home. So I had to trek back to my house after spending the 50 naira. I didn't even go out again.

Some funny stories indeed.... grin

Well mine happened on this fateful day where I was getting some stuffs from a provision store after I had just withdrawn some 2k from the POS.

Whilst doing my mission at this store, a macho guy came telling me all sorts of things about how he was a Dj, Music Producer, Music director and all that.. At some point I got disinterested in his chat and was trying to discharge him undecided

He noticed my lack of interest and immediately switched to that he was hungry and hasn't eaten, recharged and blah blah since some days now

I was like chairman OK collect some stuffs and help urself out, which he did. But on his leaving the store he said I should find him some change to board a bike to his place cos it was far.

Now I had placed 1k plus some change in another pocket of my pant while I had on my left arm the remaining 1k supposedly to pay for my goods and this stranger.

I gave this dude this change and he hurriedly left the environs, in my mind I was like this bros don suffer wella, perhaps that's why he was in a hurry.

After paying up the bills I had decided to go chill before heading for home. I had gotten to my fav Spot ordered a bottle of my favorite, only to dip my hands in my pants to pay, i discovered my 1k was gone.

Wtf I almost ran mad, see my searching myself like a mad man for over 5mins, before it hit me something had happened. angry

Yepa! I jejely handed back my favorite withe red eyes and zoomed of home. Told my hommie about my experience and he told me I had been zapped.

Just like that I lost 1k to a total stranger, till date I can never forget that experience as I was latter told it was black magic on the beats. shocked
