Chillax people ! Those are terrible, hurtful words by God-knows how many Chinese folks. Those bile -filled words do not represent the general consensus of all Chinese people. Without a doubt, there are racists in China. I mean blatantly racist folks here. But then again, there are quite a large number of hospitable, friendly Chinese folks who would go out of their way to help you especially if you can throw up some Mandarin. With regards to Chinese people who are vehemently opposed to the proposed PR policy, I'm sure the majority of them have genuine concerns. They are naive because they do not understand that being a permanent resident holder doesn't equate being a citizen. They fear crimes might increase. Some fear they may have to compete harder against foreigners for jobs. Some fear their traditions and customs spanning hundreds of years may become tarnished or completely eroded. Some are not adequately prepared for globalization and the inevitable changes it brings. These are genuine concerns I'm sure we also would have had if our government were discussing policies that would affect/further integrate foreigners in our country. As for the hate directed at blacks, if you know wetin some blacks mostly.9ja don do for China, you do fear fear. Wrong! I think most Chinese who are doing well are those who stay back home. It's highly unlikely that someone who is rich in his country would go abroad to work, except for vacation and tourism, so think again.
