There is a raging war on Twitter regarding who is the greatest between Chelsea's legend, Didier Drogba and his Arsenal, counterpart Thierry Henry.

The War which was started by a Twitter User @Hustler_futbol is aimed at presenting facts that prove Drogba was a greater striker than Henry

Reacting, Chelsea fans rallied to support Facts tendered by @Hustler_futbol. But Arsenal fans wouldn't have any of it. They went on a rampage to prove why Henry was the greatest of the duo.

Here is a brief background of both legends.

1. Didier Drogba: He is an Ivorian ex-professional football player who is famed as the top goal scorer for Ivory Coast national team. He is also the top foreign player to have scored most goals for Chelsea. What more? He is a two time African player of the year and 4th highest goal scorer for Chelsea.

2. Thierry Henry: He is a retired French football player that is widely known as one of the greatest strikers of all time. He is also perceived by most pundits to be an all time best striker in the English Premier league. What more? Henry has been a runner up to many major awards.

Both were legends only for their respective club. On the European or world levels, they were just a little bit above average.

Ivorian and Chelsea football legend Didier Drogba was trending on twitter yesterday for his football achievements and just hours later he started trending fans of the French and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry started expressing their comparison in response to tweets of Drogba's fans that stated that he was a better forward than Thierry Henry.

Both legends obviously are worth the comparison having scored over 200 goals each during their campaign in England and having both won the prestigious English Premier League at various stages of their English footballing career.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea fans have the rights to believe that their Legend is preferred to the other and have expressed their views by tweeting emotionally on theirs reason for their choices

Both are good in their lanes, though I am an arsenal fan and love henry undilutedly, but for this debate, I will pick drogba, because he won champions league with his team mates, he was with them through thick and thin, unlike henry who couldn't, and had to later go and join barca with the likes of messi, eto and co.

For me, Drogba is the greater legend any day anytime of the two. Much respect to Igwe too.

if it was based only on the EPL we will not be having this debate because, Henri definitely has a better record. But Henri did not only play in the EPL, he played in the Champions league, Carling cup and the FA Cup. So he can not be judge on the EPL alone......we are looking at the careers of two great strikers, that is the point I am trying to make...
