Nothing fishy about it.

Ebola started in Congo near the Ebola River, but it was not Congolese that spread it across the whole world.

The index case in Nigeria was a Liberian- America call Patric Sawyer; the index case in the US was a man who travelled from West Africa (not Congo, which is in Central Africa) to Tx.

What this tell you relative to the Coronavirus and in general to other communicable diseases is that tourists tend to move quickly in/and out of your country or city compare to the indigenes....ie if you count everyone that either entered or left 9ja on average on a single day, there are more foreigners than Nigeria citizens and these are the people to moves into the next country and introduce something foreign they acquire from the third country into the new country.

It Is becoming obvious by the day. I hope no one is still doubting that Europeans manufactured HIV and co and spread them to Africa. For goodness sake, Nigeria should stop all flights from all Europe and continue the land border closure.

That is how they brought small pox and measles to Africa four centuries ago and it has remained ever since. The Spanish and Portugese particularly ravaged most of the Americas with 'strange.illnesses' against which the inhabitants had no immunity.

Thank goodness COVID-19 is finding the purebred negroid a harder nut to crack. But of course viruses are resilient. You can be sure they are currently in a meeting to figure us out.

The spread of Corona Virus infection, or lack thereof, in the sweltering Congo, will shed further light on the possible linkage between seasonal heat, and Corona Virus potency reduction.

It is safe to assume that the Italian man who became Nigeria's first recorded Corona virus carrier, was NOT the only actively infectious carrier of the Corona virus that arrived in Nigeria since the outbreak of the disease in Asia and Europe, meaning that dozens of other travelers carrying the virus may already be on Nigerian soil, without showing clinical symptoms of the disease, PERHAPS again, on account of Africa's current heat wave either mitigating or even neutralizing the potency, virulence and transmission of the disease, in stark contrast to the case in nearby Italy, for example, where cold winter weather still prevails, and the death toll from the Corona virus has become truly alarming.
