Tethering is to use your BB as a modem n browse with it on PC.as far as i know the application you use for that is 'tether' you download it both for BB n PC.Stil,even without using this app you can use the Blackberry Desktop Manager juz put d setting n you are browsing but Etisalat n Mtn has blocked this tethering so am surprised when i saw info made his post.
@rajstyle was referring to pinging free on his BB which translate to free BIS on his BB nt PC.

Just got here but i think there should be a way of getting free subscription undecided its just that we dnt knw it yet \
is there anyone who knws how to activate free of charge or continue after it expires ??

@everybody, am still Pinging for free. The only thing is that The Wap/browser is absent on the Phone. so i had to download bolt and snaptu( with an MTN sim ) to be able to browse. Even when i load credit on my fone the network does not remove the subscription cost, hehehehe

Can someone provide the BB Desktop Manager Software setting for MTN Access Point, with Username and Password needed to use the BB on PC "Tethering".
I have successfully use it on other Networks with Access Point set at "wap.xxxwireless.com" with Username and Password blank.
What is the setting for MTN Blackberry please?

have like free 80gb bandwidth on Airtel BB sim and 20,000 sms, just that network is not fast here very slow

I actually used it (MTN BIS) free for over 6months without any special configuration, they started charging normal fee thereafter. I guess its just system failure on their part.
