NIGERIA BANKS HAVE DISREGARDS FG’S DIRECTIVE ON DEPOSITS BELOW N10,000 According to our correspondence, several investigations carried out has revealed that some banks are violating this provision by charging N50 stamp duty for deposits below N10,000 into savings accounts since February 1, 2020 when the bill took effect.
