The POTUS didn't say chloroquine and hydroxychloroqune are confirmed drugs for COVID-19 treatment.

It's at the clinical trial stage and it promises to be helpful.

I told one guy this morning.. trump as much as a dolt that he his was misquoted, he was just giving hope on its future cure and asking doctors to start testing hydrochloroquine on patients so as to get proper data to FDA

What you said is actually true though.. But the people deserves to know the truth.. Not just some false hope. And using a drug that's yet to be more tested for a particular situation might have a side effect.. People might abuse it.

And, the only vaccine and the fastest one the world can get now is between 12-16 months according to BBC.. But work are been put together to get it faster and some necessary procedures might not be taken like testing it on an animal first.

Obviously you don't know Jack about Trump. Trump is the exact one that will fire anyone for going against him. He fired all the people in the white house who told the truth about his Ukranian calls. Even when advised against such moves by members of his own party.
